So... do I get some kind of mention for saving Game D and ensuring it ran on for another 3 pages, making this topic temporarily redundant?
Something like this in the main post will do:

In a stunning move of intelligence, on Page 2 of game D, Keanu counterattacked Gorge's "Agape" with "Gape" even after the 48 hour limit, and thus the game continued for another three pages!! Congratulations Keanu, we love you!! |

Someone (George was it you?) deleted my post because I was winning... put it back please.
Last standing word is saucier by me since the last valid word before that was saucer.
By George on 08/06/2009
Yes it was me.
Vald and I had a talk and me (not fully knowing the full rules yet) thought that "sauces" was illegal, after "sauce" had already been played.
It is in fact a legal word and therefore we did NOT have to restart, so the game continues from Karlfischer's:

Dueling and Duelling...
In the last change one letter game a few years ago someone got done for carat and karat.
They are alternate spellings for the same thing.
It's not the same.
You should consult Valdremia.

Thanks so much Gorge for holding up the game and Eugene for pointing out an interesting issue to the play.
Sorry there, I have been unwell for the past 2.5 weeks, busy as well and was unable to contribute to the play. Anyways unto to the game for what's left
"Duelling" as oppose to
"Dueling", a very interesting situation raised here. One is American-English and the other British-English, different spelling but same word. Rule of the game dictates no repeats of the same word allowed, although Gorge's play was really interesting given it wasn't played directly off the previous but a skip in-between (a tactical move that can be often effective), a valid tackle but the words are repeating the same word, just as Karat > Carat. So, "Duelling" will have to be opted out.
So sorry! The last current word we will have to go back to Angus' "Dulling" and so, countering that with:
CULLING TY!

Firefox didn't red-line guiling as a mispelled word. Even uncapitalized which means it's not a noun.

Guile is a word. Guiling is not the verb form. I don't think there is a verb.
