what the fuck @ my warn level


EDIT: gene..look over this please. this started when i bored so i decided to pull a prank in #wg, saying i died in mining guild and come bless my grave. so, chip, gorge, z blade came. chip rofled, gorge was totally ticked off (he also told me chip became very very mad) and they had just left arma temple for this; z blade offered to stay and mine with me. so gorge sent me an im and was about to explain and i was rofl'ing/he gave me a 12 hour ban from both lobby and wg chat on irc

so hours later (i was not aware) someone downstairs my house was resetting the router, i had comcast and it was double price, and he was changing it to att (sbcglobal). i was dced, and so i restarted my comp to get everything set up and click on my irc program. i set my chatrooms to auto join so it joins all my clan irc rooms as soon as i get on. i clicked ok on the #wg invite to see if it worked. i got banned by darth (telling me 12 hour ban is 12 hour ban) so i was like w/e. but then i was exiting and joining and i had been accused of ban evasion..

after that everyone just told me to keep behaving and they may remove my warn level,

im extremely irritated by something bull as this. council evidently banned me from irc for their own reasons. i say power abuse, no where on the wg rules and rights (again, im talking about these invisible rules).

Don't claim you're innocent, the first time you came into #wg was barely excusable:

I honestly don't see what all the fuss is about. You betrayed the trust of your fellow clan members with your prank and laughed about it. Then when you came back on, you knew you were banned and expressed it. The warning you got is doing exactly what it's meant to: show you that what you did was unacceptable, and that nothing will come of it as long as you don't repeat such behavior.

Just because one of the people you tricked had the power to enforce WG's behavior standards does not mean that it was power abuse.

I don't believe the 12 hour ban should have been given in the first place. A prank, when it does not harm the clan, is not the Council's responsibility to punish for. He did not break any rule. He attempted to make a joke, even though it might not be the best one, it has nothing at all to do with a ban.

In IRC before you were trying to explain you were "rofling", this probably wasn't the best thing to do, but nonetheless, is not a bannable offense, even a 12 hour ban.

You can't just ban someone because you don't like them, or how they behave. That's like throwing someone in jail for hiding someone's keys. It's a bitch move, but it's not breaking the law.

You made me leave my team at arma... I dropped EVERYTHING and left my friends without a team member to help someone who I previously considered to be a friend...

You should have more respect and realise that now if you do die, no one will come and help you.

The thing that really pissed me off was that you carried on laughing..... if you had apologised profusely when it had happened you may have just got away with the initial 30 minute ban, but you laughed at me in game. THEN, you pm'ed me in IRC just to laugh at me....

The ban stays. The warn levels stay.

Don't worry maturity comes though these lil mistakes we make. George won't stay mad long. That is why he still luvs most of us.

I'm offended that a WG member would be capable of doing that to his, so-called, friends.

You make a topic about 20%? Calm down it's not like it will kill you.

It could classified as a form of scamming. Maybe it was taken a bit seriously or maybe it wasn't.

You haven't actually apologised to me or to chip.
