The Wilderness Guardians vs The New Generation

Yesterday, I approached TNG for a 15 v 15 P2P PvP fight. After debating viciously on the rules, we finally agreed on a set of rules.
WG Starting: 15 people (Minus the scout on top)
TNG Starting: 15 People
After hopping several worlds due to the presence of other clans, we finally found a clean world and set up.
TNG set up their defences and we rushed in.
With effective positioning, TNG fighters were lured into small gaps and quickly attacked. Within moments, WG mages were able to surround and barrage into TNG's cluster, dealing heavy damage.
After the dust cleared, WG were left with a healthy 13/15 people remaining.

Good Fight TNG, was a clean fight for the most part. Hope to do it again sometime.
Thanks to RDK for making a special apperance after the fight. Heard you guys had trouble with our AC
Special thanks to Ancient Fury, who ACed and kept the fight clean and kept us safe.
Extra blue dots were Ancient Fury, who stayed in our CC for fast communication.

Start was great, bit slow on the cleaning up towards the end.
I sent Joe as bait and I get piled and die

Why did you deathmarch a 15v15?
Why not just say "Look everybody, x, y and z are maging lolz"

If you had a different idea, go ahead and share it.
To attack us, they had to be in the gaps between the caves, which was exactly our strategy. Theres a reason why we didnt just flat-out deathmarch in. We let them come to us.
Even if they did try to target mages, they only set themselves in a barrage pile.

Assuming that they are spread, as any mildly experienced clan should be, their setup would be the standard mages at back, rangers in middle and melee at the front. Which going by this picture seems accurate http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/1929/090623171623.png
WG should have rushed in off of a tank/leader and rushed through them right to the back. Just like you would in a p2p multi territory battle. To me the start of this fight looks to have been a ----> <clash> <--- start which isn't what you want and as you can see from the pictures, that's what it became. A classic territory battle in which you guys got lucky you weren't fighting someone more experienced.
Rushing to the back of them and being spread across their base will cause them to become confused and need to regroup. Their mages would be exposed and vulnerable.
Equally, their best strategy would have been to counter-rush back into WG and piling/specing out the ones at the back of the WG rush, the mages.

We just decided to make good use of the caves .
However, I'm confident that the strategy we used in this particular fight saved more lives.

I dont see why you are all giving steve abuse for. His tactics are sound. It what we used todo. Was pretty much the tictac for the DOA p2p war. One of the most epic p2p wars...ever. So yea.
