For a trailer it was disappointing. It doesn't really give any insight into what the film will be about, it just says.... theres this guy called the air-bender who's the last one left and someone wants to kill him.

Aren't most films like that? bad guys want to kill good guy. every time a bad guy fires a gun he misses, every time a good guy fires a gun he hits?

That said I will be interested to see the actual film when it's released. Although I can't help but think releasing the trailer a year in advance is a little much.

Dunno, trailer doesn't give any indication it will be a good movie besides some dramatic timed cgi effects.

There will obviously be more trailers.
They are still filming it.

For a first release teaser this is pretty good.

Yeah, I read about this a month ago.
The trailer was awesome, and I'm glad the kid actually threw out some real martial arts forms.

If someone else were making this film, I probably would've scoffed about it... But I'm pretty confident Shyamalan will make it awesome.

My siblings used to watch the animated version on TV and I caught a few episodes so I'll probably see this in theaters with them. Doesn't look half bac.

Not interesting. The fact that it is being produced by Shyamalan might make up for the fact that I hate anime, but probably not.

The cartoon was pretty badass, I want to get the DVDs.
Hopefully this doesn't completely suck, looks like it's going to be pretty wicked.
Shyamalan is pretty good at what he does, with the exception of the village.
Got high hopes for this film, wooh!

Tbh i can see this being another Dragon Ball Z movie. An decent anime series i think thats what DBZ was anyhow something like that and the film trailer looked pretty sweet but the actual film itself was pretty crap and id say a flop. From what we have seen here it looks promising but who knows ...
