Combat Levels

Ok the mega-announcement has had enough spotlight.
The next announcement is on combat levels.

I'd like everyone to train really hard for a while, especially those below 115.
I myself will be 120 shortly. I have gained 2 stat levels in the last 2 days.

I don't want to devise a system to make you guys train.
If you don't want to train for your clan, you're not really holding up your weight.
I'm not going to be a hypocrite, which is why I'm going to train harder. Really, unless you're 126, you should be training.

i will be training much more when i get my pc back, now i can't get online very often.

Play fast SC for an evening and get a few sacred clay helms; then camp zombies. 2K combat experience a minute is pretty intense.

Eregion, explain in more detail. I don't know how to train at zombies.

I have only Ranged en Prayer left.
I'll get 99 Ranged or 90 Prayer, or maybe both.

Could have sworn we had a guide for it somewhere but I can't find it.

After you've done the first step or two in the Defender of Varrock quest you get access to a dungeon with lvl-85 armored zombies. They respawn quickly have low defense and are basically just an incredibly good place to powertrain for combat. They also have very, very good drops so you easily make a profit while you're there.

For SC, look for the cc channels Fastsc, Fastsc1, Fastsc2, or Fastsc3 (whichever one has people in them). They're non-combat Stealing Creation teams who go to random worlds and strip a map of its resources in less than 10 minutes, ending the game quickly so you can get 2 games in for the time of 1 normal game.

I traded points for SC helms; when they're equipped (and charged) you get 2x combat experience while wearing them. Armored zombies are already around 800-1K a minute or more depending on your gear, doubling that amount makes for EXTREME experience gains while you can semi-afk and do whatever you want in the mean time.

PS: There's an altar right up the ladder from the dungeon, so you can train using combat prayers 100% of the time without having to use prayer potions. It's amazing!

I'm trying to save some money for 99 prayer, but I'm not starting until I have all the bones. Hopefully I can get a d claw drop soon, that'll fill up the gap

1994 total, and 1.5m till 99 mining = no training for me till those are done.

I'll train melee after I finish making the alchs for 90 mage. Only about 2 hours left of that until they are ready. After that I will Slayer my combat up. Might be slow, but it is better than nothing. Also, my combat will not reflect my ability to tank due to me wanting to train mostly defense, UNLESS CSoTW has attack or strength.

Well as soon as my Dragon Claws sell in the GE, I'll buy Bandos again and train my ass off through slayer.

126 combat, finishing 99 prayer sometime within the next two weeks anyway.

I guess I'll hit up Soul Wars to get my prayer levels as I'm no where near having enough money to buy the bones themselves.

Thanks Lordy ive needed a little more to push me into training again, i will use these last 7k chins to hopefully get 90range then continue training combat.

Got my gilded altar, 2 more prayers levels and I'll be set.
Maybe I'll train prayer more, but Its too costly and not significant for the last few levels.

I will probably go for a defence level or hp level sometime soon if I start slayer back up, but if I train any combat skill it will probably be magic since that has a greater bearing on performance in PKs. I am assuming that is the reason you're stressing this, unless it's for recruitment.

I was training a lot before exams.
Now I am almost finished school - 2 WEEKS TODAY omfg, so i won't be able to do *much* until then, THEN OMG 120 F2P IN THE SUMMER!@

Yeah I´m training when I have time but since I´m on vacation it´s limited.

98 Strength at the moment and 95 Defense. 71 Prayer. Will max melee during the summer most probably, can´t really say anything about Prayer.

Wayne...do the sc helms work for range as well?

And Joe (mentor <33333 ) is there a sw chat? I stopped playing because it was so annoying when I got on a losing team.

If you want to be legit about it, there are some SW clans out there.
Soul Slayers, and STI are the top names.

good idea to get low cmbs up but im 125 and i only needed 99 pray and not spending almost whole my bank on it sorry

Wohoo, another of Lordy's great idea's that I think isn't so great.

How much time do you REALLY expect a WG member to spend on WG? We dont all just play RS for the events that this clan has, and as you may have noticed several people in WG have long term non-combat goals that they're working on.

I might add I am not one of those people.

But really, every clan has lower levels, and expecting everyone to be combat training untill they're 126 is just plain stupid. People don't want to log in every time they're on RS and go 'Fuck I have to do this because WG wants me to'.

You NEED to remember that while you may play RS only because of WG, others do not.

Is making money so we can get 126 considered training?

I train with combat skill of the week. Slayer some also. I have the quest done to train the armored zombies but I haven't learned how yet. I'll see who I can get to take me. *Looks at Vephy*

Just got 99 prayer and mage, so all that is left is range. Any ideas on good ways to train range????

Soul Wars or PC for prayer as opposed to buying it. I did PC because Soul Wars was not out and I do not like buying skills. With that said, I will work on summoning.

the only thing i can do is train attack and get hp lvls since im 89 attack i can only gain 10 lvls then im done

still working on it...

probably going bandits to afk it while i do something else. combat is by far getting to be a pest =D

nah armoured zombies are by far the best, also decent cash.
