When did you join?

Well, I honestly have absolutely no idea where this kind of topic would go, so I put it here. If someone knows where it actually belongs, please move it so I know for the future, ha.

Anyways, on to it. When did you join this clan? Are you a vet, an old-timer? Who was here when you first joined?

I'll start off by saying I joined WG for the first time on April 2, 2005. I only remember that because it was my dad's B-day when I found out I was accepted. Took two weeks also, I was nervous . I consider myself a Vet, simply because I was around at that time, but since I left for two years..I dunno, definitely not an old timer.

When I was around, lets see. We had Xort, Gibble was not just some guy who posted on the forums. Wrecknbreak was around, I actually killed him in the DA once, never let him forget. When the Abyssal Whip first came out and Chaddaman124 (can't remember the series of numbers) got a kill we were all excited, good ol' P2P raid. Karl always had his pick and we'd stop off to mine some Runite, haha. The war with TU, which I actually survived. I was practically gone when this guy named Stokenut joined. I was the first person to talk to him (he told me so - don't go saying otherwise Stoke, haha).

What are your guys' stories?

I can't remember a date, but I joined for the very first time a few days after the war vs The Unbreakables. I remember posting in the guest forums a small introduction, just saying who I was and that I wanted to join. I ended up applying a week or so after that, I have no idea on the date.

I remember on my very first F2P raid I maged. That's what like half of the clan did, maging was still popular back then. We got into a fight with Gladz, and it was chaotic. People were everywhere, one big cluster just like how fights used to be. No hugging or draging. I remember having no idea who to attack, so I followed Chaddaman124 because he was like the only WG name I recognised and I looked up to him :$. I followed him around and was like "who do I attack omg" then both clans started walking down to edgeville for some reason, and I remember seeing all these high level Gladz members attacking me :<

I also remember when Karl would bring his rune pic to raids and we would watch him mine the rune ores.

I remember going on to teamspeak for the very first time and Sir Dazzy & D Distroyer were on there and I talked with them. I was so nervous.

I remember P2P raids where we kept fighting DOA, every Friday night on the American P2P. That's when our rivalry started, the classic DOA war was soon after, and I remember lagging LIKE MAD to that war and DCing.

I remember P2P raids were pretty much giant lure trips when we would DD at scorpions and lure people who were at mage bank. I would never get any kills because I would always melee in P2P and the person would die before we even got close to them.

I remember setting my guy up at GDs for raids, and just waiting for us to get a fight so I could log in. My computer was THAT bad.

Memories

Yeah, D Distroyer I remember him. I looked up to Chaddaman124 also. Saw him in Edgeville a while back, but he didn't remember me.

I was the exact same way in raids/wars - lost and confused. I wold always just follow people and and THEN find out who to attack, after they'd already died. I remember getting two kills on two separate raids also. One was a full mystic kill, but gave the mystic to Havocangel (can't believe I forgot him) because he had been killed and lost his. Another was I think a DOA run-in and I got a kill. I remember seeing it in someone's vid of the run-in. I watched it and was like "that was MY kill," I was ranging because I was cheap and couldn't afford to lost the melee gear and my mage was very very low...must've been some good special attack, ha.

Yeah, those lures. I remember just sitting there at times. Hop and sit. Hop and sit. Finally a person...who was in fact luring also. HAHA. Those were always fun.

The fights at the member's gate. I just now remembered one fight around the time G-mauls cam out and someone had one and died and it was sitting by the fence. Someone Tele-grabbed it, meaning...they had Teleport Runes! Oh well, was only a few mil at the time...

I remember that my friend, Punkrockaa convinced me to join. At the time the reqs were like 80+ CB, so I trained like mad after completing Legends to meet the requirements. Then me, Punk, and Mrme355 all got accepted on the same day, ironically we all were coming from THE SAME clan. We decided to leave that one and go somewhere else - WG.

Man, all these memories just come flooding back.

I just remembered something else. I hosted a party for my B-day, because it was cool doing that before. Lordy gave me a DDP . I was so happy.

Then there were the Law Crafting events and trawler trips. There was someone who would always craft laws for us, but I can't remember his name off the top of my head, which is annoying because he was a very good friend of mine at the time.

I joined back in September 07. I haven't been here that long really. when I first joined it was me, saad, glenn, cody, jon (boogers), dz, rob, dr stokenut (steve still didn't have stoke back), bto, die 3000, etc. etc. The p2p team ftw =P. We had like 10 people max at the raids, i guess i joined at one of WG's lowest points. but look at it now =P.

WG always bounces back. I remember a time when all of a sudden we lost like half the clan. Then we get more people and old people come back. It's what WG does. We lose people for whatever reason, but because we PWN they come back. It's just how we roll.

If I remember correctly I joined January 26th, 2005, and I have not left since. I think I still have the link to the old forums, Ill have to look it up and make sure that is correct. I might be able to find your join date aswell DZ.

Lol, nice memories. Yeah, back then runemining was quite profitable since rare items were much less. People would headbang the rocks to soften them up so I could mine them faster, and then others would yell at them to get in the DD.

We also had a Tuesday raid that I enjoyed...it really broke up the week.

I was always dreaming about WG since summer of 05. I was f2p at the time of about 90 cmb. I quit runescape, and moved on for a year. When i came back, i was determined to join WG. I heard of D-day, and decided it was my tiem to join and try to help out. I intro'ed in late Feb. And got accepted as a Full Guardian on my Birthday March 14th .

I was a fighter back then, always willing to come along raids. I remember that my first 2 months of being a new member i attended probably like every raid that was decent to EST timezone. Ohh god, those were the days... I remember The war Vs. TBE. Great times... It was my first Huge Full out p2p war. I was so excited, my heart was pounding.

I've been with WG for over a year, and i don't plan on moving on <333

Yeah, I wanted to be a part of WG the second I heard about it. Mainly because the clan was different, and I hated getting killed for no reason...

I used to be really active, always going to raids when. I was always one of those who would be there like 45 minutes early just to make sure I was there on time. I always got bored on the F2P raids though, not as much action IMO. The P2P raids, no those were awesome.

First joined in October 2007, first event was a Allied Raid with 3v0luti0n X when they we're a powerhouse in P2P, Boogers102 was helping me out stayed on the raid till 3am, also managed to attend Tnuacs last raid as warlord which was an Anti crash.

I first joined in like 2005. I joined on an account called Kilabite10. There was the likes of Sainath, Wildflame10 and Trinionwheel when I first joined. I left because of IRL reasons. I re-joined at about easter of '07 and left again at around the summer time. I eventualy re-joined on the 24th of December 2007 and I intend on staying for a while now.

Oh yeh, my first event was like Agilty event, hosted by the event co-ord Brigete227 orso. The main event I attended was a WG + DG vs THE orso. I can't realy remeber.

Oh my gosh...how could I forget Wildflame and Sain and Trin?!?! Wow...I feel so bad about that...

I think I was already really inactive when we had the war wit THE.

My first event with Wg was the Valor war, I had no freaking idea what to do lol, i was just standing there and before I knew it I died.

My first events were Netstormuk's 99 range party and Saad's 99 fletch party. I wasn't even a member then lol. I remember my first raid, me and Anat wanted to come, but Lordy wouldn't allow intro's. Then Lordy left, and I got re-invited. Raging Mage2 lead that trip.

Joined July 5th 2007, 1 day before my birthday, left for about a month or 2 and came back recently.

When I did join I thought this clan was the best, and well it is and always will be

I remember looking up to Dz a lot when I joined seeing as he led most of the raids, and I bascially learnt everything I know now from him, Dz

So December of '06 I tihnk it would be.

I became interested in WG in like December '05, then finally applied and got accepted in February '06. Have never left since.

I first joined on the 27th of June 2004 old s7 days. The clan was small and the community was great. Everyone was like hey to everyone. I remember Clang, Brian the sm, Lord xin , killer grizz, Tibtib, palidore, sainath and others. I remember when we use to like finish raids at castles and have the occasional fights with FEAR. Then later by a few weeks when we went to s4 i something happened that got me kicked out of WG. Then on june 2005 i rejoined. The clan was bigger and their were a few people from the s7 times . When i first got on TS the people i saw were Sir dazzy, D distroyer, Nl angelus, Gundam, killur. Thats when i became part of the TS crew . I got to know loppls, bennyboy, Jezzamon, Geohood, Nidhogg and a few others from the aussie raids...man i miss the old aussie raids. Eckzr Kero2 and many more. With WG from then.

So many memories and people man i miss them all.

I joined August 15th. (A week after my 15th birthday.) I had just gotten 99 prayer and now was looking for something else to do in RuneScape. Cody aka Mustangred1, who had been a friend i met through pest control a year previously, had always told me about how he was in this great clan that did player killing and such. After much begging he convinced me to join. I was very undedicated at the start. It took me 2 and a half, yes two and a half months, to graduate from Trial Guardian to full Guardian. I remember Snowzak telling me over and over to hurry up already since I had the events, but was too lazy to type up a post like that. Looking back, I should have been kicked for being a dick lol... (The limit was a month to graduate.)
Once I got in I was extremely dedicated. Soon after though, Cody quit RuneScape and WG without even telling me. We all noticed quickly enough and I was mad and almost quit, but didn't.

On my old acc i joined like 3yrs ago on this one i joined i think 3 weeks ago or less

I trained and trained for ages from the beginning of my rs career to join WG.
I trained for about 2 years.
The reqs got higher and higher...
I joined the WG forums in February 07
I joined the clan after finally achieving the 100 cmb limit in June 07.

Don't know whether you can call me an old-timer or vet. Its down to personal opinion really. Maybe i'm a 'new-age vet'.

Joined on April 22nd 2006, officially the first person to apply to WG on the new WG.com phpbb forums. I'd been in contact with WG before then, in the s10 days, and was considering allying my old clan to WG. We never met the requirements though. I've never left.

Became senior after 5 months, raid leader in sept/oct 06 (I think), council in March 2007

Joined 1 year ago, quit rs for 2-3 months after wilderness updates

I joined February 16, 2006. I stumbled upon the web site about six months before I applied and loved what WG stood for, its mission and the apparent vision of His Lordship. I then met a Wild Guard, some may remember her, Kosssh (Lotte). She encouraged me to keep pushing my combat so I could qualify. I was not quite 100 combat yet.

The process for joining was very different then. I remember submitting my app and then waiting on pins and needles for an acceptance email. I still have that email, it meant so much to be acceptable to WG.

I remember Xena (my dear dear friend), Karl, Dorsha, Rai of Light, DSGame (was my mentor) got me through my first raid. I died of course. lol

I was a real noob, took me the longest while to get the hang of DDing.

I have seen the clan grow and learn and get stronger. I was here when Rick left and when he came back for a bit. I was here when we were at a real low and thought the clan might disband, but it did not. We bounced back due to people like Abs, Stoke, Snow, so many have worked hard to keep us going. And we have.

So I consider myself a vet!

I have never left the clan, but have had periods of inactivity due to moves or illness. Getting older is a real b---h. Inside I am 26 and always will be.

I joined dg around March 19th 2005 or 2006 and dg died around august and i became wg, left around december of w/e year it was I joined when Tmal and twiz were leaders and Lordy came back and took total control of wg back after closing the clan, I left with all my other friends in wg, and came back around the april 4 months or so after the crisis when friends started rejoining. In between that time I was in Tunescape which was my first real clan and made quiet a few good friends. (was in ts before dg also btw)

I also was a clan friend on wg forums a year before i joined dg i believe also.

Best event ever? BK war and the golden age with the amazing and renown OpH when it actually worked and we gained like 5 cmb lvls in avg.

Me well i joined a long time ago it was just before the valor war reqs had just been raised to 100 yet groedius was accepted by His lordship at lvl 98 lol. I remember in that war i died in around 30 secs i never knew what hit me lmfao.

It's cool to read about everyone's first time here. I read all these posts and remember all the really old members.

I eventually made it to Honoured Member, back when that existed, ha.

I wanted to join WG since begining of 2007, but i havent meet cmb requirements and when i had like 95 cmb reqs rised from 100 to 105 cmb, then i decided to become p2p for short time and get 105 cmb (when i finally reached it it decreased again to 100 )
I joined sometime in September 2007, my first full out war was RHK, i had the first kill there, Ni crashed and we lost the war (it was first war which i lost in my RS career) , but i had fun and thats why i am here in WG

august 31 06 i was 2 levels under req, got in with a faulty stat sig. Eventually fagex killed their game so I quit... Guildwars is sooooooo much better....

I'm kind of in a hurry so I won't post a long story......

but, my friend, Redstormx1, showed me pictures from WG's gallery. I got really excited and thought that WG was the 'leetest' clan going round.

I joined DG, as a level 81, on October 31st, 2005. I then got promoted to WG on January 1st, 2006 as a level 95 - which was a couple days before the BD war.

Hmm let's see, 23 September 2006. The day I officially got accepted. Remembered the first people to post in my application was Phoenom and Tezza Rulz12, absolutely ones of the first nicest people around I got to know. And many others to follow.

I remembered the applications for WG was closed, so I applied to DG lol. I thought it doesn't matter anyhow and I don't mind being junior even forever. Georgio transferred my applications to WG when it opened again, really grateful for that.

I was never into clans, joined a good RS friend's clan as clan friend on my first clan experience. Decided to join WG because its about ARPKing, that's it. It sets itself apart from others by advocating fairplay and not attacking those aren't prepared to fight. And I wanted to experience clan life on a different level.

Then there's D-Day, happened on the 1st December 2006. It's also Tezz's birthday. I remembered being in IRC and was talking about friendlist, a senior member was lamenting about how cumbersome the list is having froobs talking while he was having a nice convo with another. Then d-day happened in minutes right after that and its impossible to announce the emergency...I did say "now the FL is useful" lol. A little ironic but yeah I do like to laugh at these things, ironically.

I actually do not believe in PKing of any form, more acceptable to the idea of holding fort against bullies.

Got promoted to Senior (equivalent to Elite) sometime in March 07 and then to council in April 07, for which I am grateful for the trust entrusted TBH. RL matters beckons and I had to leave for it

The best is still the C1LG, started during d-day's period which I got to know even more great people like Zecchini, Maths, Rene, Reece and everyone who had great fun playing it and learning from each other.

I joined just a couple of days ago. April 2nd I think. This is my first clan ever. I never thought about joining one until i met all you wonderful people. I'm glad to be a part of it all.
