Use of Security Forums

Just a creative way of using them that I have come up with. Please provide criticism because 20 ideas put into 1 is usually better than 1 idea against 20 blank people.

I know I have suggested ways of using them in this fashion before, but here is a more precise way. For a topic such as Raid Leader Applications, after you finish with it in Level 4, or even Level 3 if that is where you talk about them, bump it down to a lower level security forum to allow others to provide criticism about what you have come up with.

At that point, you are saying that you trust those members who hold that rank with the information and to not share, which builds the amount of trust between the members and the staff. This can only help the clan. The better the trust, the better the bonds, the better the clan will work.

When these topics are brought down to the member's security forums, they will provide criticism to the topic, discuss things that may need to be changed, and hopefully work out kinks in the system that may come about. This can help prevent drama from occurring when it is publicly released.

You may say that it would take too long for each security forum bump down, but it only has to be for about 24 hours. Will it hurt too much if it is only delayed 24 hours?

This can also be used for watching out for inactive members, trials that don't need to be graduating, or even a specific thread for criticizing trial raid leaders, giving them comments on what they should be doing better. Involve each other in what we do, and we as a clan will evolve into a tighter knit community.

Sometimes it isn't upto the members to make certain decisions, that's why we don't bump most things down. It's not about trust, it's more about decision making and that's what leaders are for.

But sure, yeah use the security forums more they help in discussion a lot more than you guys think.

emeritus members are not trustworthy enough to vew the same security forums as our newest members...and i do understand that, like that would make you think that being WG member for 4 years makes you good enough to vew lvl1 forums.

I love the concept of bumping topics down levels.
I'm going to try this more often.

You don't bump pretty much anything down.

If it isn't up to the members, then don't bump it down, but I am sure there are still ways that you can involve the members in a few decisions.
