With this post http://forum.runescape.com/forums.ws?15,16,662,59173471, we all know that godsword and claws are now useless in PvP unless you are one brave soul. They are both going to crash, no doubt.

How low do you think they will go?

I personally just sold my BGS for 20.6m.

Godswords were obscenely expensive before PvP came back; no reason to think they'll drop much. Claws probably, since from what I've heard they're practically purely a PvP weapon. Just imo.

I'm betting items like AGS, BGS, and claws are going to drop hard. SGS and ZGS I think will stay the same.

I see the three PKing weapons going WAY down, and probably staying there as well.

To be fair, this is going to piss A LOT of people off. But at least it puts an end to 1-iteming which I am glad for, even if it is at the cost of not being able to use the protect item prayer. I need a rune plate now lol... I've always just worn my Guthix plate to raids which is now officially a bad idea

Does this change the gear requirements for WG?

I don't see it affecting the clan to much as a group but more the single people who go out alone.

Yeah that's the downside.

What they should have done was add more boundaries, eg. you wouldn't be allowed to use protect item if your risked wealth skulled minus your most valuable item was less than 100k on F2P and 200k on P2P. That sorts out the 1-itemers from the real PKers who deserve to be able to protect one item in a worst-case scenario.

Doesn't effect me too much but I probably won't go for anymore claws. Maybe solo. Just effects some boss hunting for bit. I see this event as a good thing, hope it doesnt effect sigils though.

I can imagine it would, as WG is very strong in P2P. I don't know much about what gear reqs are, but as far as I know it's 200k risked wealth minimum. Full Rune and a dds or a d scim would easily reach that, so maybe a few of the drag items on standby would be useful. WG being a 100+ clan, that's roughly 300k per death which is easily affordable in triple-figures.

And yeah soloing is going to seriously get raped. Less PvP worlds + 100% risk + large amount of clans = epic solo pking fail.
