The Wilderness Guardians Rules & RightsBelow are the rules and policies for WG.
You are reminded that this is just a guideline.
They set the general rules, but are not laws.
You are required to apply the rules using common sense.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Wilderness Guardians RulesObey The Runescape Rules- Doing so gives us a positive reputation in-game.
- You will not compromise your account or another member's account.
- JaGeX will not consider our clan a threat to the game if we follow their rules.
Show Courtesy At All Times- This means no flaming, spamming or begging.
- This includes being courteous to people outside the clan. Consider our reputation.
- Deliberately ignoring or excluding other members is considered to be in breach of this rule.
- If a person offends you, and you insult them back, you will both be punished regardless of who started it.
- No individual or collectively should a member violate human dignity of another member based on race, class, age, sex, nation, or faith. Including showing greed or indifference to them. Nor will staff misuse power or technology to endanger the members in the clan.
- Before calling a person names as a joke, be sure they will take it as a joke, and not the wrong way.
Do Not Compromise The Clan's Privacy- Do not publicly talk about sensitive clan information such as event times.
- Do not privately provide clan information to people outside the clan.
- If told something privately by a member, you must not state that information publicly without that member's permission.
- Do not invite people to our events without permission from the Event Leader.
Follow The Chain Of Command- Follow the commands given by a leader at all times.
- Do not do things that only leaders can do, such as declare wars or decline an application.
- Unless you are a tertiary leader, council, or primary leader, you may not command other members, even if they have a lower rank than you.
- All members should not show less respect to newer members.
- Event leaders have authority over raid leaders in non wilderness events, and vice versa in wilderness events.
You Must Not Show Favouritism- Leaders can't be biased because of personal relationships with members or how long they have been in the clan.
- Do not cause harm to a member based on personal dislike.
- Never expect a leader to show favouritism toward you.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Wilderness Guardians RightsYou have certain rights that nobody can take away from you. Despite the rules mentioned above, there are things that a leader cannot restrict. You will have these rights at all times.
You May Speak Against The Leadership- If you don't like what the leaders are doing, you will never be punished for saying so. We will not show bias against you on a professional level if you speak out, as long as you are polite. If you flame, this breaches our rule about showing courtesy.
- You may not, however, start a movement to overthrow or go against the leadership. This breaches our rule about following the chain of command.
You Are Able To Leave The Clan At Any Time- We cannot stop you from leaving, and if you choose to leave, we will remove you from our member list.
- There is one exception. Council members and the Primary Leader must give two weeks notice before they can resign.
You May Refuse To Attend An Event- All events are optional, with one minor exception. You must attend wars/raids/PKRIs unless you are occupied in real life. If you are occupied in real life, you have to at least post on the sign-up sheet saying so. (I.e. - If you are online in RuneScape, you are required to come to whatever war/pkri/raid is on at the time.)
- You may also leave an event at any time. However, you have to have been part of the event for a reasonable amount of time to be counted in attendance.
You Will Never Be Forced To Pay Anything- We will never force you to give money. If asked, you may refuse.
- However, you are required to have the appropriate equipment for an event. If you don't have the necessary equipment, you may not attend.
We Cannot Make You Choose Your Friends- You may be friends with whoever you wish, even if they are enemies of the clan.
- You may even have them added over Runescape, but at your own risk.
- However, we will not let you provide them with clan-only information.
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
Wilderness Guardians Code of HonourWhile PKing, there is a code of honour that guides us. This code of honour ensures that we provide fair combat to our enemies and also maintain high standards for ourselves.
During Clan Raids/PK Events- No killing non-skulled soloers or small groups. Teams of unskulled are OK. This is in compliance with antiRPKing. If someone looks like they are PKing, they have to confirm it before you attack.
- No deliberately crashing an organised fight between two or more clans, unless one or more of those clans is an enemy of WG
- Do not wear welfare gear. On f2p, full warring gear is expected as the minimum to raids, and on P2P gear worth at least 200k cumulatively is required
- Running away from a clan that is clearly overpowering us is acceptable for now, though this may change in a few months' time
- Teleporting away from battle is not allowed
- Logging out of a battle is not allowed
- In single combat, PJing is not allowed, and tagging is not allowed unless the enemy is also tagging.
- Luring is acceptable, as long as you don't backstab (eg. Ask them to join your team)
When participating in a PK event hosted by another clan- No killing non-skulled soloers or small groups. Maintain the antiRPKing standards. If someone looks like they are PKing, they have to confirm it before you attack.
- No crashing organised fights by two or more other clans, unless one is an enemy of WG
- Other than that, you are subject to the honour codes (or lack there of) of the other clan
Whilst PKing by yourself or with a small team of friends- As usual you must not kill an unskulled soloer or small group. Larger unskulled teams who are clearly PKing are acceptable. If someone looks like they are PKing, they have to confirm it before you attack.
- You must not 1-item. The equipment standards are not as high as those for clan events, but at the very least, you must not 1-item.
- Tagging is acceptable if the opponents are also tagging. Jumping a death match is unacceptable
- Teleporting/Logging/Running is acceptable, but not encouraged.
- Luring is acceptable, as long as you don't backstab (eg. Ask them to join your team)
