Me, a rpoud brother

By Bambaleo on 27/07/2009
my little brother who is 14 is one of the amateur fighters ohmy.gif to those who have no experience in martial arts, there is a long way from newby to a fighter. Many people who start doing it won't make it this far in 10 years. My brother made it in 3 years, he started with 12 and now he's an amateur boxer/kickboxer. He made it this fast because he participated 2 different training sessions, boxing and kickboxing, 6 days a week, as you can imagine this had to be really hard for a 12-year-old. He is 65kg, which is amazing, since his bodyfat percentage is only 7%, that means that he will be able to particate heavyweight, maybe even super heavyweight championchips one day.

next month is his first official fight, i will be there as one of his coaches.

That's awesome dude.
All the best for his matches.
65kg for a 12 year old is pretty insane.

no lol, he was almost 12 when he started, now he's 14 tongue.gif

my profile is empty, only 1 fight, since i'm a pro i'm registered in german boxing assosiation. Plus i wasn't really active in this field, haven't had a fight in like 3 or 4 months. I guess i'm going to quit pros and stick with being amateur, at least i gonna make some money again biggrin.gif bu mostly because of my studies. Pros train twice a day, jogging/stamina workout in the early morning and the second time in the evening and that's just too much time to throw away....i really need the time to study.

oh well, we'll see.

Fucking hell, he's a tank, he weighs the same as I weighed at my peak. Which is more than at the moment, you must be hella proud, keep us informed on how he does!

You must of been a real inspiration to him. It is nice he has you to look up to. Please keep us informed. That is really cool to see a younger one really go for what they want.

actually that's not the only brother beside me who's doing boxing biggrin.gif another younger brother does boxing too but not as long as me and my youngest brother, so i guess it is our family sport smile.gif since i have 3 brothers there's only 1 brother left who's not into martial arts but i think i will get him to do it too smile.gif good for selfdefence and health.
