Need to get something off my chest

Somehow I got into another argument with *anonymousmember* tonight and he revealed a few things...

He claimed that I am just in WG for the glory.
He claimed that it is my intention to be WG's "hero" all the time.
He claimed that I take all of the "fun" stuff to do and all of the staff that gives benefit to members - promotions... cs/sotw, the olympics...
He claimed that many members and my fellow council members felt all this about me....

I want to know if this is true...

I do a lot of Council work because I enjoy it...
Although we never receive gratitude for the many hours that we all put in, I somehow enjoy it... and so I put in more hours.. i mean its 2am now when i'm typing this and I've been doing council work all day since I woke up at 9am....

He claimed that I push people away because I want to do everything....

I have got to say that I may agree with some of that ^.... but it is not my intention to push you all away... and I want you to know that.
I do the things because I have most importantly, THE TIME and also the experience and therefore will be able to do it quicker (take sotw for example)....but now I know that this is stupid as it is not giving anyone else the opportunity to learn "the trade"....

So tell me.
Am I overreacting or was what he said largely true?

I guess it is partly. I mean like, George I know you love doing the work with everything, but when you do all that, it gives others the impression that you want to do it all for yourself. For example, with the app managers, at first you instantly said "DO NOT WANT", but it'd be a good idea.

Getting some work off your back gives you time to do what you want to do in RS.

But RS can be boring

Also I guess it's the fact that I need some of you to take things out of my hands if i'm to change.
Darth get this App Manager thing going? Post in lvl 3 and gather support for it....

Actually George I've been so happy with how you've soaked up the council work.
It's a workload that I expected in the first place.

Over time I've expected less from the council because they didn't have the drive to keep going.
But then you came along and impressed me with your amazing work ethic, and I was given a fresh breath of hope, and thought to myself

"Oh ok, I guess I won't have to suffer so much now that he's got my back"

So whoever the anonymous member is, it is not true. You've really been amazing.

You could say the same for me; I just make pvp events, update announcement box, and do w/e im told. Alot of the times I dont have to do the non "fun stuff."

You have done more than any of the current and last council combined.'

Who cares what they think? You know and everyone else knows.
