Hello Guardians!

This is the official sign up topic for the Fourth WG Skill Olympics vs TBE!

Competition Starts: Sunday 16th August 2009 - 12pm-Midday EST/5pm GMT
Competition Ends: Sunday 23rd August 2009 - 12pm-Midday EST/5pm GMT

This year we are up against The British Elites (TBE), our allies.
They are a good clan and are good skillers, containing a lot of skillers in their memberlist.
This competition demands your respect and hardwork!

- The sign ups are first come, first serve!
- Emeritus may sign up, however only if you can guarantee activity!

sooo...I think I will sign up for mining and smithing since those seem less full. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to obtain the most xp on those?

For mining I would suggest using the Granite mine south of the bandits camp/NW of DT pyramid, dropping the granite + using the lunar spell humidify means you can stay there for unlimited time (as its in the desert you will need a water source, and humidify refills them), this is also supposedly the fastest mining Xp possible, though a higher level miner would probably know better than me

For smithing I would suggest Addy bolts + SC hammers (hammers give 64k Xp/32k bonus Xp each when used on smithing) as this looses you approximately 500gp per bar (when thinking about doing smithing myself I worked out I could get ~3.3m xp for ~14m Gp loss as I have 51 SC tools), which is as small loss as possible at 73 smithing. It doesnt get cheaper untill 88 when you can make Addy plates.
