Gmt Raids Needed

I think it would be quite a good time to get a gmt raid started up since we are growing in dutchies and other gmt users. We have been waiting for this quite a while and now we have our raid leader that is quite gmt friendly (leecable). It would be an interesting step into a more gmt-friendly envirement. With this our activity might even increase and interest gmt ppl to join wg

back then when we used to pull even better opts like that, this was exactly the mistake that has destroyed us. Right now people have fun on raids because we win from time to time...so they want more of it...but if you overdo it - people will get bored or angry because they keep losing sutff. So i'd say NO to this idea. If it's good the way it is right now, why try repairing it?

And I thought we were back on weekly raids anyways, which includes a GMT raid. Sunday at 7 GMT unless I'm mistaken.

I'm much more inclined to raid at like 10am than 7pm. Some people find 11pm a convenient time. Some people like it in the afternoon. It's different for everyone. Saying "okay, this is a raid for Aussies" is almost unnecessary, because even Aussie raids bring people from other regions, and at the time, some of our Aussies may be busy.

I think having too many raids can lower opts, but having a raid at a different time of day opens it up for different people and shouldn't considerably change things.

If we're only gonna have a couple raids a week, I think the best thing to do is just change the times up from week to week.

The was the primary reason why we got another raid leader, besides that fact that it was getting stressful hashdown.gif.png

I do agree with this. I agree with what Bam says too and I try not to overdo it; usually we will raid every 2-3 days

Let Lee get used to his position and then I am sure that he will start planning raids for the GMT-ers. I know he wouldn't mind one that would be decent times for him.

I don't know but usually i go to aussie raids and the other one but its early in the morning or very late at night. Even making the american raid 1hour earlier would help alot. I am not complaining about leecable, he will do a great job, he just started and now he has temp inactivity becuz something very bad happened. And i have yet to see darkzero organise a raid. I have only seen gene, bto, lee host raids

Bto is council, it's not the same

He's just incharge of all the raid leaders, and he sorts out big wars, he doesn't have to make raids, that's the raid leaders job

experienced pker doesnt have anything to do with raid leader. As a raid leader you must pay attention the whole time, must be able to think straight under huge pressure. Being able to shout at ppl for piles while paying attention to not getting ko'ed. Must know certain strategy's etc
no idea if u could handle it but it's time a dutchie becomes tertiary+

i called much the last 2 wars i called on lee's first raid as raid leader id think id help him

when lee walked us to barrage spot i was the only one that walked out of fi be4 we got too close managing not to get barraged so i survived
as for piling on me im used to it ^^

i think i could atleast try it dont you think so too
