Although I appreciate that english is not everyone's first language, please please could we stick to using english in IRC!

It's all well and good trying to participate in a conversation, yet it's incredibly difficult to if you are face with a wall of text that makes no sense whatsoever.

I know it's probably my ignorance for only speaking one language fluently, however I'd envisage that plenty more are faced with the same situation.

Its really just rude to be speaking in a different language to someone. Everyone here speaks english. If you are speaking a different language you should be PMing them anyways. Not that many people are going to listen to this..

I've got to agree.
I know there are lots of new dutch players in WG, and don't get me wrong, that's great, but i've spoken in English to all of you and you all spoke really good English, so let's speak it in the IRC channels.
If you want to speak dutch to each other (only natural ) then speak it in a PM or a different channel if you desire

but i need to try to learn that i need to talk english this is my first english talked clan...

The main thing about it is if you talk in a different language that not everyone understands, they may feel left out/awkward.

Angela I had the same thing when I joined back in 2007 (it's still crap, but ok xd). But I'm sure that this is a very good way to learn it beter.

I love WG for being very diverse and uh... worldly
But English works and the IRC is for everyone
