As I Am..

As much this is probably un-expected from many, I am sure a few people may have noticed things for me going down hill over the past few months..

I am going to step down from my position as an Elite Guardian and take the rank of Emeritus.

Let me explain myself:

I have now been in WG for over a year now, without taking a complete break once. In this year I have experienced many great things, and I want to experience many more great things. This cannot happen with a lot of things that I have going on in real life right now, such as band on Fridays and Saturdays, work whenever they schedule me, and I have the intentions of dating my ex-ex-girlfriend again.

This will cause me to be inactive, and right now, WG does not need dead weight that I may cause. I will become Emeritus, lose my access to security forums, but still come to as much as I can when it comes to WG. Going Emeritus allows me the first step of re-organizing my real life and setting WG to the side.

Honestly, with the girl that I have the intetions of dating again, I was with her for the first 9 months that I was with WG. I treated her horribly and scheduled times around her for WG and wars. I would send her home so that I could attend events. I am actually trying to create a good relationship with her, and to actually do something in real life the right way for once.

The last time I attended an event was probably 2 weeks ago.. the last time I logged onto RuneScape to actually play was 5 days ago.. this record will only be getting worse from what I can tell.

My intentions are to come back from Emeritus as soon as I can promise to be active. I do not want to leave WG. I just want to take my break and to make it an official break. I should still be in IRC quite a bit, along with forums. I just cannot promise in-game activity.

I shall see you all on the other side..
Also please allow me my 3-days to make sure that this is something that I want to follow out with. It would be favorable by me that if I have not changed my mind by Monday, that this departure/rank change is processed at that point.

You have great intentions. However, I just want to say my girlfriend is part of the reason I've come back to WG. She's been annoying and WG = escapism.


But really, good luck with everything, it sounds like you've taken a nice look at things, and I definitely respect that. And emeritus is a great rank

Damn dude, good luck with the girl. I hope you can patch things up and give it a better shot this time around.
