6: Warning Levels
As a Trial Guardian, you may not be familiar with Warn Levels in WG.
What are Warning Levels?
Warning levels are a site-based tracker of your behavior over your time here. If you ever misbehave, i.e. flame another member, skip raids etc, you are likely to find yourself with a warning level. Warning levels go up in incriments of 20%.
During your Trial Guardian period, if you get a warning level, you are likely to fail your graduation and therefore be removed from the clan.
This is because if you misbehave in your first few weeks with us, you show us that you are not a desirable member to have, and so would require removing from the community. You are advised to make sure you are VERY familiar with your Rules and Rights, by reading this topic.
Once you have graduated, you are a full member of the clan. This means that we do not out-right remove you for small offences.
At 20% and 40%, you find yourself with verbal warnings.
If you reach 60%, you are likely to be given a short suspension from the clan. If you continue to misbehave, and end up on 80% warn, you will then find yourself with a lengthy suspension of usually one week or sometimes even two, depending on the severity of your actions.
At 100% warn you are removed from the clan and permanently banned.
You can be issued with multiple warn levels at a time.
How do I get rid of Warning Levels?
Warning levels do disappear over time.
The staff will *usually* remove one of your warn levels once a month if you have been continuously well behaved.
If however you commit offences during that time, your warn level will not be reduced.
How do I avoid Warning Levels?
To avoid warning levels you must not get into flamewars with other members/the public.
It is advised that instead of getting drawn into flame arguments, simply approach a council member to let them sort out the issue calmly.
The staff are there to help you - remember that.
