What You Want from WG

OK, we're still growing.
But I have a feeling we're about to plateau.

Please post below saying the ONE thing you most want from WG.
Don't be scared to say what you want.

Actually, make it two things.
The two things you PERSONALLY want most from WG.
Think of yourself, and not about the clan as a whole.
What selfish desire do you want?

I'll review the results and see where to take WG.

As I'm not active, I'll say what I want to see the clan doing:

-Mandatory raid every 1 or 2 weeks
-Not sure how RSC activity is going, but good activity on RSC

A more active leader(s).
More fun events like the Fally Firefest or cabbage bomb.

Fuck the mandatory raids jesus H christ, how about 3 active council, we have 2 active, half the time all i see are people complaining to fuck about bto always on wow. Stop bitching and ask for a more runescape active council member, it's not hard to ask damn it. I don't wanna here "we're only joking lol" when clearly you don't. No sign ups and no Mandatory raids, they don't help. As previous past history with this has proved, probably everyone will dissagree with me on this but I don't care, It's my oponion.

Next up... I'm sure we used to do other events other than Tog/D&D maybe actually do something different for a change? maybe some castle wars, fight pits, fishing trawler, whatever the hell it is make it just a tad different, got enough event leaders how about mixing it up abit. Hmm, maybe make it less boring?

Edit: whatever happened to WG DK trips too? Just wondering.

Getting rid of the chaff (ex-members trolling, inactive members, inappropriate conversations in IRC/TS)

1. MORE WARS. Cannot stress this one enough. I'm not a huge fan of raiding. I want some wars! P2P, F2P, ranked, fun wars...whatever..it's all good

That's about it really...I'm pretty satisfied with everything else. Granted I'm not the most active person in the world and therefore I probably don't see all aspects of the clan.

I am ready to attend every event where is it abe to have some fun (if i can)

But in general we are lacking of f2p wars.

Drastically improving the pvp aspect - eg new raid leader, even if it reinstates old ones, jesseh randy etc, mandatory raids, push for activness.

As the clan, activeness and more events, i spend most my day in wg lobby and nothing happens, needs to change

F2P Raids and Wars

- more mand pk's we havent had 1 for long time p2p/f2p...so we can pull some nice opts
- more war's/fun war's f2p/p2p

The things i would want is Active leadership and More control over events and raids.

The thing i mean with active leadership is ppl who try to be on as much as possible.
a few examples, I know BTO has some irl stuff but he plays WOW and obviously he isnt watching out for wars etc for wg while he's WOW'ing.

And more control over events and raids is this:
We need more mandatory events and more active % of wg. More cleans in the ml and things like that. If we want to become better in the warring world we will need active members and active council. For this we need the council to take control and actually make ppl come to raids and wars. But for this we need somekind of system that is not abuse-able. If we have 1 mandatory raid that everyone atleast tries to make it a week , it would already help us.

-More leaders (raid+event+council) that are active in their timezones. (we have too many aussie event leaders)
-More Wars, not nesecerally raids, actual planned wars.

More active Councils/Raid Leaders.
More F2P Wars/Raids.

We definately Need another raid leader and more centralized F2p wars and raids

1. We need the council person that you promised us, plus one to replace BTO. He doesn't do council work so stop making it an issue. He is pretty awesome with our p2p so why not just let him do that and keep give him half op in irc. It makes sense to not have him op cause it looks like we have someone then that is on there as he idles. I love BTO and think he still has an important role with WG. The council needs to be more mature. The fapping pns talk has gotten old. All the homo talk as well. Why didn't they have an issue with the spying crap? I just want them to think about WG image and how hard you have worked to improve it for us. They need control in love over the community and not to have heads the sizes of watermelons. That is the type of person I want promoted even if they have to be picked by council and not elected.


2. I want more events that I enjoy. I don't care for all the fancy stuff. I like the simple basic things. I want to go to castle wars, stealing creations, fire feast, flower power, trawler, kbd, steel wars, cwa, bone man, fishing, blast furnace, mining, snow place hunting, wg pures, or some other nice basic events. Where the thought is to get there in a simple way and not have to prepare for days to just enjoy an hour with my friends. This will make me smile more. I would like one day contests for like mage or range xp gained for 24 hours. That be a basic event to promote training.

Look at how diverse these responses are.
My aim it to please everyone... but I won't.
Keep it coming. I will consider every single one.

I could not give a shit if our leaders/council plays runescape regularly, I don't find it that fun either, but as long as they ACTIVELY browse the forums and stay on IRC I'm happy. If you can do your work/whatever you find fun while attending to WG then all is good.


Sign ups. Raids, wars, whatever. Those are the only true things that prove who is active. They worked before so why did they disappear.

We can't do F2P raiding. No chance. We pull 25'ish. We won't last 15 seconds in F2P raiding. HOWEVER, F2P warring still deserves a chance I suppose.
P2P wars are hard to find, but well worth the effort.
I say more wars in general?
I'm more active. *hint hint council*
We can whip us into warring shape again, but it won't be full of "pleases." Tertiaries are going to be strict, but it will pay off, and fast.

From a selfish point of view, i want people to generally be more open to new members, alot of new members are so put off by people just talking to who they already know, Im not able to get online all the time, but when i do i try and talk to anyone who i generally don't recognize to get to know a little more about them, give them some friends in WG so they become more active with us, which would in turn make us pull more to events

I would also like to see more raids, more effort put into getting wars, hardly any wars, Need more be it F2P or P2P, though P2P is so much better imo.

I'm inactive, so is the staff - aka - leaders are inactive.

F2p wars in cwa if pretty hard now.
There are 2 kinds of opponents you can find:
1, Bunch of 90-105 combat levels, easy to fight, lot of KOs but its not worth our time to bother
2, The rest - cwa based clans, almost all their members are maxed melee, they pull usually 20-30 ppl and have great organisation.

I agree with Rachel; just basic event and lets try wg pures also

40% to a non mandatory isn't hideous but could definatly be better. Mandatory sign ups will be alot better imo.

As said before, mandatory sign ups don't increase the pull by a significant amount. I don't think many people really change their schedules to make an event.

Don't fool yourself.

It isn't a bad idea, as it will raise the awareness, but don't think that it is a solution to all of the problems of inactivity. It is more useful as an inactivity check than anything else.

A friendly greeting when I am on IRC. I find that when I am there that people are logged on but are not really there. Also, I would like a reduction in the war material needed because I sometimes run out of bank space with all the material that I have.
