WG_Keanu Introing

1. Tell us about your RS history, and also about your account (e.g. how you came to name it how it is named, what you like to do etc) :
My RS history dates back to 2003 and it's epically long and complicated. The first account I created was called Kecooler, coming from Ke - short for my name, cool - the obvious, and er - because "Kecool" was taken so my friend CJ (Who showed me RS in summer 03) added the two letters on for reasons even I don't understand. My first main was called Keiscool, which got hacked at level 27 and took me 4 years to recover, by which time Kecooler was in the 90s and a renowned member of the clan world.

The story behind WG_Keanu's also complicated. I chose the name because it's a constant reminder that whatever you do in RS, wether it's with your clan, with friends or on your own, you're indirectly representing your clan in all your actions and decisions when your name is on that member list. Having WG in my name says I'm big on honour, advocate RPKing and look for community and friendship in a clan more than big turnouts and high combat stats.

I created WG_Keanu on March 23rd 2009 and got membership today (August 25th 09). I'm currently 84 combat and training ASAP - I have several goals to accomplish before I apply which I'll post elsewhere. In RS I don't have any big preferences by myself. In terms of clans I love deep wilderness. My favourite event of all time is a full-out rune war (no returning) in deep F2P PvP wilderness - greaters to spiders. I hate clan wars, I hate shallow. 100% honour - never tele, barely ever run.

2. Tell us more about yourself (Your age, where you are from, gender, Hobbies, Music, What you dislike/like):
My name as you can guess is Keanu Like the actor, same spelling (so male ofc). I'm 16 and am British but was born in Trinidad. I spent 4 years in the Caribbean, 7 in the USA and the past 5 here in England. I'm not a sporty person but I like climbing (anything - trees, rocks, whatever). I'm big on IT as well, in particular web design and I'm taking a Btec National Diploma in college, which I go to enroll for on Thursday when I get my GCSE results.

My life focus is in music. I enjoy a lot of styles from film music to symphonic power metal, but my main genres are 70s Classic Rock and 80s Heavy Metal. I play electric guitar for leisure and bass guitar in a hard rock band. I like stuff with melody and meaning, for short.

3. How did you hear about WG and what makes you want to join the clan:
WG is a legend of a clan. I've heard about them since 2006 and everything from the WG shirts, teamspeak rant, leaked adult forum pics, war prep vids, rl meetings... it all says that you guys are one hell of a community clan and it really takes balls to do some of the stuff WildGuard is renowned for. I've been an affiliate for almost a year now and every now and then I come across something that never fails to further impress my understanding of the community.

I really want to be a part of something where I feel like more than just a name on a memberlist when I'm in the clan world. I think only two big clans make the grade for what I consider a good clan for me: WG and cXs. cXs closed in 2007 so...

I really wanna experience the greatest clan left in RS for myself

4. Are there any current WG members who you already know:
Absolutely loads - I know a lot of WG from my time in the community, and some from before WG from other clans. I'd like to give special mention to Kyle, Rachel, Gus, Mickey and of course Gene - some of the best friends I've made since I set foot here and who have been really supportive and helpful throughout.

5. Any additional comments:
I'd like to say thank you, to everyone. Most of WG has been really great to me even throughout some bad points in my history with the clan and I'm grateful for it. It's an honour to be a part of the community even where I am now, and I cannot wait to join as a member when I hit the reqs

Great to see you re-intro'ing Keanu, it has been really impressive to see the work you have put in over the last 3-4 weeks to raise your combat, and 34? combat levels in under a month f2p training is impressive!

I've never really had a real conversation with you but I'm still amazed that you keep training and have not given up on WG. As soon as I read your topic about training I thought to myself "this guy will give up in a couple of weeks". Looks like I was wrong.

It's the highest compliment you pay me when you make the full use of my forums and clan community. The respect you have for WG is almost overwhelming. I can't wait to see you apply. I have not accepted an application in years, because the council always does it, but I will definitely go out o0 my way to accept you myself since I want to show how seriously I take your commitment.
