Council Election Nominations

The majority of this topic is quoted from Abs, because being the ultimate sex goddess (yes goddESS ohmy.gif) that he is , he has said it all so well!

The Council are looking looking for ONE General Council member to replace the PossumChiken (IE: Arsenalfan32) and also to give the current council a helping hand and much-needed boost!

QUOTE (Abmanju)
The Council is striving for more moderating type Council and a Council that looks for member feedback and so on. A Council that will never ignore a pm on IRC or on Forums. Someone that will always have the time to listen to anyone with a problem or query. Someone who is ALWAYS kind in what they speak. Someone that is never racist and has self-control. This person will also be doing a lot of forum work as well as IRC work. This person's communication with the clan is vital. Timezone is also very important for this person, they have to be most of the time at which most of the clan is on. Along with all this, they have to be Event active, they have to go to Events, we need a Council out there to support the clan in every event, it'll certainly be inspiring.

So in summary we are looking for:

  • A Calm Member - Someone who can control people and keep their head!

  • Someone that is good at comforting and confronting people.

  • Someone who has a quality to boost morale when down.

  • Previous experience of ACP/Mod CP/IRC Commands would be helpful, but not necessary.

  • Someone who has a Microphone for Teamspeak and is not afraid to speak openly.

  • Someone who would be open to constructive criticism.

  • Someone who can cope under pressure and stress.

  • Someone who is not afraid to spend many hours a day doing behind-the-scenes forum admin. This is very important. If this scares you, then you shouldn't be applying.

  • Someone who would know how to settle disputes between two or more members

  • Someone who would ALWAYS reply to EVERY PM or other means of communication from members/guests alike.

The importance of the Council Rank:

QUOTE (Abmanju)
This rank, the Council rank, I can't stress how much **** it put through many Council members. Ask anyone who has been Council, they'll explain. You might think "Yeah, I'm prepared for this" - Heck, So did I, but I really had no clue what I was really in store for me. You might bug a Council member to do Apps or do something at a time, and go 'Oh If I was Council, I'd do that' but you will really have no idea unless you have been Council before. This rank has broken many many people. Lifespan of Council is usually, approximately, rather, 6 months I'd say. It's hard to last long in a job you're not getting payed for. You'll be able to realise 'Why am I doing this? What is the purpose' - Then you answer that question yourself 'Because I love this clan, I love my friends here, I want to make them happy' - THAT is your payment, THAT is what motivates you in Council.

Council Rank is the ultimate test, if you don't do well at it, you will be criticised by the clan whether you like it or not, you will have to be able to withstand that criticism and act positively to it. Council Members make mistakes, Primary Leaders make mistakes, but they are ordinary human beings just like yourself, they will learn from mistakes. But many people don't understand the concept, which is exactly why the pressure mounts & mounts on a Council Member.

Now it seems right to quote Eugene, from an Election Topic he made on the Z6 Forums in 2007:
QUOTE (His_Lordship)
You are about to apply for something dangerous
This clan has been through many council members.
We have never had a stable council.
If you join the council it is very likely you will quit WG soon after.

The council members are placed under EXTREME stress.
You just can't believe how much...

Anyway, you don't know what it's like to be in the council.
Some of you think it is the ultimate glory.
This glory will fade after a few weeks and you will suffer.
Others are in it because they want to change WG.
Then they suffer as well because the stress grows too heavy.

You may look at the council and say not much is being done for WG.
But it is hard for council members to do anything.
We are labouring and we need plenty of breaks.
Sure you may say nothing is being done.
It's REALLY that bad. We just have to keep our workload small.
Otherwise WG gets too stressful.
This is one of the reasons many council members leave.
They don't realise how stressful it gets.

IF YOU WANT THIS JOB, YOU REALLY HAVE TO HAVE A DEEP URGE FOR IT.
So please, before you apply, think VERY HARD.
There is a reason council members are temporary.
When you are in the council, it isn't a lot of fun.
People start questioning what's the point of playing RS if it's not fun.
To be a long lasting member, think of Dorcha3377.
She does it because she loves us. She loves what we're all about.
You need that. You have to draw your happiness from the happiness of WG.
Nothing can prepare you for it.
You may think you know how it's like, but you don't.
You can only understand once you are in the council.

So when you apply, realize that you may be about to suffer.

---------------------------------------------

If you are still certain that you are right for this job and if you have not been put off by the warning above, then you can apply as long as you meet the following criteria:

- Higher Guardian+
- Four Months minimum in WG (The day since your application got accepted)

Below is the Council Application Form

Please be aware however:
That this form is the basic form that you need to fill out. If you want to gain more votes, I suggest that your write a structured application, involving colour & underlining key points.
Also please try to get your point across clearly.
Please spend a good amount of time making the application form
QUOTE (Abmanju)
People who have applied for the rank previously and received it took a good 1-2 Hours writing their applications.

Application for Council:

1. Have you read and understood the warning? Please comment on why the warning is needed and of what relevance it is to you as an applicant.

Yes I have read the warning, multiple times, and every time, it screams at you to thoroughly think about what you're doing, and compared to how hard the job really is, the warning makes it seem easy. Believe me, applying for council for the 2nd, possibly 3rd time here, and every time, that warning scares me. Nobody can know if they can handle the responsibility that council requires, until they are given it. That's why WG has such a history of a liquid, ever changing council, because council members come and go so often because they can't handle the pressure. In fact, I'd be willing to put money on every single council member in WG history at least writing a draft of their 2 weeks notice, maybe at the last second deciding not to do it, but definitely seriously considering it.

I wouldn't be writing this application if I didn't think I could do the job, simple as that, I definately wouldn't risk being accepted if I was uncertain about my ability to do the job. That would hurt WG more than anything. A member can always walk away from the clan, the clan cannot walk away from it's members.

2. Why are you applying for the Council?

Wow, the biggy.

This can be compared to why people go to community halls to clothe and feed the homeless, it's not for the respect, it's not for money because none is made, it is a selfless act that people perform when they feel they should 'give-back' to the community. WG has given me a home away from home, so to speak, for my RuneScape life, I left WG once and could not even play RuneScape, for me WG is RuneScape and RuneScape is WG. It's members, senior members, and council members, have changed me so much, for the better, that I want to repay that by helping to change and mould WG, for the better.

Why would anyone really apply for council? The power? To help their clan? An orange name? I'm gonna be honest, it's all three, but mostly the third tongue.gif Why the power? The power to make a difference, the power to be pivotal in the future of the clan. Who wouldn't want to help their clan if they could? Who doesn't help their clan already, but is always willing to put in the extra effort, chances are, if you're reading this thread, you're one of those people. And an orange name? 'Nuff said.

3. What do you perceive to be your current role in WG and in what way do you believe that you have helped WG to prosper?

I honestly believe that my current role is very advisory, and insightful. Numerous times I've spoken to current and past council members when they've maybe not known the correct decision to make in a delicate situation (No, no sensitive information has ever been leaked to me), or perhaps the council needed reassuring that they had made the right decision, I've even talked council members out of posting their 2 weeks notice.

Since originally joining WG I have held practically every rank, from trial member, to trusted member, senior member, raid leader, council, warlord, skills sector leader, guardian, higher guardian, elite guardian. This is a massive amount of experience in a number of fields, and I have always performed to the best of my ability, and stepped down from responsibilities I know I am unable to fulfill. I have seen and helped WG grow in it's wilderness abilities, it's skilling and community member base, it's maturity and integrity, even down to streamlining application processes and other logistical improvements.

4. What qualities place you above other people applying for this position?

Without trying to detract from any other applicants posts, I simply have the most experience of any eligible applicant, I am the longest serving eligible guardian to apply for council, I have been actively involved in practically every aspect of WG's growth over the past 4 years, whether in a leadership role, or as a contributing member. I believe I am the only eligible applicant ever to have been council previously, and I know I can do the job, and if anyone who was around for my councilship thinks different, I openly invite them to voice their opinion.

I have vast experience with the ACP, Mod CP, IRC and Teamspeak Admin, both from my time in WG and experience gained from other aspects of my life.

I would like to think I am very approachable, and can be talked to about anything, personal, or otherwise, and will always do my best to give good solid advice. I have a large array of life experiences that means I can usually draw upon something to help someone out with a personal problem, as well as the advantages this will bring to councilship.

5. What makes you think you can last for a long period in the Council?

I have graduated from university, I've turned 21, I'm looking to settle down, and a stable real life is essential for any active council member, and I have the drive and determination, and will, to handle anything council can throw at me, I can and have, been the bad guy, I've made decisions members have not liked, that I've known were better for the clan, and I've weathered the storm that some council members cannot handle. I didn't step down from my previous council position because I could not handle the pressure, I stepped down because I was going to university and couldn't guarantee activity.

6. What is your greatest weakness in terms of being a Leader?

If I cannot find the solution to a problem, or cannot see the correct decision to make, it can aggravate me, resulting in poorer decisions made by me.

7. What does WG need most at the moment and what will your main priorities be as a Council Member?
I think at the moment, what WG needs is direction, everybody is talking about growth, but nobody ever says in what direction this growth needs to be. Goals and ideals are what WG needs, something to aim for. Targets, achievable targets, and I will give WG them. Not only will I set them, I will come up with plans to achieve them, and will put my utmost effort into making sure they are reached. Not just simple goals like 100 members, or 123 combat average, but things like increased member happiness, maximum activity.

As a council member, my priorities will lie on increasing activity while maintaining and increasing member satisfaction, I will not force anyone to sacrifice real life, or make ultra mandatory events, but I will endeavour to not only lead by example, but help less active members come up with an activity plan. Along side this I will try to make more regular weekly events, perhaps as many as 2 a day, that guardians+ can lead and record attendance, so that everyone in every timezone has the opportunity to attend events.

8. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive?

I have nothing planned that could make me inactive

9. Do you agree to provide the Council with two weeks notice if you wish to resign?

Yes, I do.

10. Is there anything else you would like to say?

Firstly, for the members that do not know, when I stepped down from council in my previous appointment, I did NOT serve my 2 weeks, I demoted myself and was banned as per procedure. Since then I have had to reapply, regraduate, and reconcile myself with WG and it's leadership. Not serving my 2 weeks notice was one of my single greatest regrets in WG, and I only wish there was some way to make it up to the people I disappointed and let down.

Secondly, I would like to wish all applicants the best of luck, and I would ask all members to vote not based on popularity, but who you feel will do the best job; this is not always based on an application, but from your experience with the applicant. It can be hard to put down in words some attributes that are essential to a good council member.

Finally, thankyou for taking the time to read my application, and please consider it my pledge to helping to improve WG, whether I am sucessful in my application or not.

Cheers,

~Owen

From personal experience and observation I can say that this job eats people up and spits them out.

On the other hand the job can be very rewarding, if you commit.

Can't stress enough how important it is to read the warning. I've been council before, and its all true. You need to be prepared to make important informed decisions and have the capabilities to go out of your way and do things without always receiving gratitude, or any recognition.

But on the other side of the coin, its an amazing experience. I can honestly say it changed me, it taught me a lot better how to handle people, how to organise, and several other things. Managing people is sometimes tough, but very rewarding and can teach you a lot.

So lets see some more applications (y)

1. Have you read and understood the warning? Please comment on why the warning is needed and of what relevance it is to you as an applicant.

Yes, I have read, and internalized the warning. I feel that the warning is not only issued, but is necessary because the Council position is very taxing and is NOT for people that just want the power. The warning serves to deter people that wish to rise ranks for the joy of rising the ranks.

The warning, in relation to myself as an applicant, is a simple reminder of what it would take to help make WG a better place. It outlines the taxing nature of the position and highlights what is needed of an applicant - qualities I believe I posses.

2. Why are you applying for the Council?

I’m applying for the Council position because I genuinely want the position. Not because I see it as a conquest or a prize, but as a symbol of my commitment to the clan, and an icon of what I can achieve.

I want the Council position because it means I can have more of an impact on the clan, and be more able to help the clan. I want see the clan flourish and I believe I can help WG do just that.

3. What do you perceive to be your current role in WG and in what way do you believe that you have helped WG to prosper?

On a more basic level, my current role in WG is to make and host events for the members of the clan. On a different level, my role in WG is to serve as a source of information for new members and those hoping to join the clan, and a source of advice for the Council regarding clan-wide decisions and the regular members of the clan for whatever may be their issue.

How have I helped WG prosper? Well, I would say that my events have helped keep the clan active and helped keep morale high, but that would be a bit unfair as it’s my job to do that. So what I will say is that I’ve helped WG prosper by being a role model for new members to look up to and by advising the Council what form of action must be taken if any were needed, or to advise them to take action where none has been considered.

My addition to WG, as a member of the Staff has become more behind the scenes than up front and personal.

4. What qualities place you above other people applying for this position?

Well, I’d say my character and versatility is what would put me above other candidates for this position.

~ Character ~

I have a way of saying what I want to say with words that result in my opinion not being confused with something else. I say what is on my mind, not mindlessly but intelligently and clearly. People know exactly where I stand on an issue and can trust that I won’t waver. I’m not two faced and when you ask me anything, I’ll give you honesty. I’m calm when it’s not necessary to be strict. I’m direct and stern when it’s something that needs to be discussed and is important.

~ Versatility ~

I’m also versatile. I’m not the best at everything we do, but I can do them to some extent. Why is this important? Why is this valuable? The Council is a job that has no limits. The jurisdiction of the Council has no real boundaries when it comes to responsibilities in the clan, so when the time comes I’d have to do something out of my comfort zone, my versatility will allow me to do just that. I’ll be able to take the reins and at a very least keep control when I’m doing something I’m not particularly skilled at until someone who is skilled can step in.

5. What makes you think you can last for a long period in the Council?

I’ve said it before in all my Council applications, that the reason I think I can handle the Council position for a long period of time is comprised of two things: dedication and real life situations.

~ Dedication ~

I joined WG in 2005, and remained very active until the day I moved to Africa. In Africa, I remained a very active member of the forums as I was unable to play the game (the Embassy provided internet had RS blocked). When I switched ISPs, my first goal was to meet the WG requirements and rejoin the only clan I’d ever been a part of. I think that says a lot. The single thing I wanted when I came back to the game after a year of not even playing the game, was to rejoin this clan.

~ Real Life Situations ~

In my life, I’ve been met with situations that required more of me than could have been expected. Although rare, I think they speak for how I am able to cope with stress and how that will allow me to remain an efficient Council member for a long period of time.

While living in Cameroon, the country fell into civil unrest. While school was cancelled I opted to volunteer at the US Embassy and do whatever was asked of me. They had me manage the Task Force Database, which basically documented all US Citizens in the country. I was given the responsibility of making sure each American was accounted for - that they were safe. I was just a high school Junior - 11th grade. I believe this shows that I’m able to handle stressful situations.

The year before that, I wrote an article for State Magazine and had it published. I was in 10th grade. This, I believe shows that when I put forth the effort, I can really get things done.

PDF link to my article for proof: My Article
Or you can view the text without pictures as HTML: HTML version

Those two traits when put together, I believe, will allow me to remain a successful member of the Council for a long period of time.

6. What is your greatest weakness in terms of being a Leader?

My greatest weakness is easily my temper. I’m easily annoyed and when I’m annoyed enough I can say some nasty things, and sometimes act irrationally. So I tend to lash out when confronted with things that really push me to the edge.

I don’t believe this will affect me greatly as the way the Council is structured, I won’t be able to act alone which will make sure none of us can act irrationally because of personal reasons.

However, I am, and will continue to work on controlling my temper so that it doesn’t ruin anything that WG is working towards.

7. What does WG need most at the moment and what will your main priorities be as a Council Member?

Right now, WG needs morale. Yes, our morale is better but I believe we’re not at the stage where we can be consistent. We’ve had complaints recently where people are starting to lose their drive and I think with higher morale that drive will return.

With the start of school arriving fast, we need high morale so people will remain active during school.

High morale is an overlying need for WG, but what this will entail includes enforcement of rules that people think are being ignored or tossed around and in general a clean up of the clan.

8. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive?

Yes. I’m starting college (university) on September 24th. This WILL limit my in-game capabilities no doubt, but not my forum and managerial responsibilities.

I’ll be able to be on the IRC at any time (I’ve got it on my iPhone) as well as the forums so I will never be far from WG.

9. Do you agree to provide the Council with two weeks notice if you wish to resign?

Yes, I will provide the Council, and the clan with two weeks notice if I decide to resign from my position as Council.

10. Is there anything else you would like to say?
I would like to say good luck to all the other candidates.

I would ask all voters to vote based on qualifications, and not on popularity.

Thank you very much for taking the time to read my application.

~ David

Its so weird seeing Owen as an active member -- and even applying for Council. I know he is an oldschooler but I just remember him as emeritus for so long. Anyways good luck to everyone applying. Owen is hot btw.

I'm still trying to work out if that was a compliment, an insult, or a random musing lol.

<3

I think it was all 3

Cleverly done

I guess all 3. ^

Application for Council:

1. Have you read and understood the warning? Please comment on why the warning is needed and of what relevance it is to you as an applicant.

I have always read the warning every time council elections come out and I fully understand its true meaning and significance after actually experiencing the job first hand. I really don’t think the majority of people know what comes with being a council member. Look at the history of WG for example. I don’t think any other clan goes through as many leadership chances as we do.

The warning to me as an application is a form of telling that the job is not all fun and games. You don’t just get an orange name, you don’t get an extra security forum, you get a job that you are not being paid for. I see the warning as a caution to what you are getting yourself into and that you had better be prepared to do your job well.

2. Why are you applying for the Council?

I am applying for council because I want to help WG in the best way that I can. I really feel that the best way I can help WG is by holding a position on council.

I have always wanted the best for WG ever since I have first joined this clan. I have always done everything I can to help WG from attending as many events as I possibly can from giving advice to newer members. Lately I have had discussion with several council & staff members regarding important WG situations. But now I want to go beyond that. I want to be directly involved in the decision making and use my judgement to ensure that any decision made for the clan will be made to benefit and enhance WG to it’s full extent.

I also feel that I am an extremely suitable and a good applicant for the job. Taking a look at the summary of what WG is looking for:
  • A Calm Member - Someone who can control people and keep their head!
I have never lost my patience before, whether I had a leadership position or not. Remaining calm has always been one of my strengths. People have even said I have a calming voice!
  • Someone that is good at comforting and confronting people.
Confronting a person is something I see myself to be very good at, I know how to approach someone with a serious tone without going over the edge. I have honestly never had to comfort people online very often but I’m sure I could do so when called upon.
  • Someone who has a quality to boost morale when down.
I like to think that I am a person who often lightens the mood (with jokes, etc.) and can lift spirits through speech when things are not looking good. I loved doing things to get people pumped up and motivated back when I held leadership roles (pre-war spam, pre-war music on TS, speeches) and would love to do this again.
  • Previous experience of ACP/Mod CP/IRC Commands would be helpful, but not necessary.
Having been on staff previously, I have used both the ACP/Mod CP and IRC commands.
  • Someone who has a Microphone for Teamspeak and is not afraid to speak openly.
I love teamspeak and am never afraid to speak my mind. The only time I was hesitant to speak was when I first joined the clan. Ever since I have been very open minded and not afraid to voice my opinion.
  • Someone who would be open to constructive criticism.
I strongly value constructive criticism as I am always looking for ways to better myself both as a person and a leader.
  • Someone who can cope under pressure and stress.
Being a warlord/raid leader in the past, I was faced with several situations that were extremely stressful. I have got through those tasks with ease and find that I do my best work when under pressure.
  • Someone who is not afraid to spend many hours a day doing behind-the-scenes forum admin.
I will admit that doing admin work was never my favourite thing to do, but is essential for WG to grow. Seeing as I want the best for WG at heart, I will gladly be willing to handle any admin work that needs to be done.
  • Someone who would know how to settle disputes between two or more members
Solving problems and disputes between members has been one of my favourite things to do. I feel that I approach situations without any bias, analyze the situation properly and take action from there. I settle disputes the best way I can and do all in my power to make sure nothing of the sort arises again.
  • Someone who would ALWAYS reply to EVERY PM or other means of communication from members/guests alike.
This was one of the things that struck me the most when I had council the first time around, the amount of messages you received on a daily level. I know how important it is to have communication with council and will do everything I can to make sure not a single message is left un-answered.
3. What do you perceive to be your current role in WG and in what way do you believe that you have helped WG to prosper?

I see my current role in WG as an experience veteran member of the clan who has seen WG go through a lot and has lots of valuable information and insight to give to both current and future members. Not only have I passed on information to regular members of the clan, but staff and council members as well, assisting them with any problems they have come to me with because of my past experience.

I also view myself as a ex-raid leader/warlord (because I was) who knows a lot regarding the combat and PvP aspect of WG and can always assist with anything related to raiding or wars.

4. What qualities place you above other people applying for this position?

I believe I have several qualities that place me above other applicants:

Experience
I believe this is pretty straight to the point; I have held leadership positions in WG before, I know what I’m doing and I know what I can expect. Every time I held a leadership position I made sure to do my job to the fullest and no one ever had a complaint towards me as I was making sure to do the job to my full potential. That is exactly what you will get with me this time around if elected into the position.

Dedication
I have accumulated over 4 years of time in WG. I know a great deal about our history and have seen how much the clan has changed over that period of time. I have seen how the clan world has evolved and I know that we have to evolve with it if we we want to succeed to our full potential. Every leadership role I have ever held in WG I have put forth all the effort I possibly could have and that will not change if I receive this job.

Attitude/Personality
I view myself as a person who is very easy to talk to and get along with, but also able to maintain a perfect level of sternness. I want people to view me as a person who is easily approachable and someone to discuss things with whether it is a clan or a personal issue. I am generally very optimistic, but will not set goals at a level that I deem too difficult to reach. I have always felt that a leader/member relationship should be a strong one, and I think that I am a person who can easily hold good relationships with my members while holding a leadership position.

5. What makes you think you can last for a long period in the Council?

I believe I can last for a long period of time in the council because I know what I am getting myself into by applying for the job. Having past experience, I am aware of the effort needed to be successful at this job and I know that I am capable of putting forth that effort.

WG is, and will always be my home and I want to do everything I can to make sure it succeeds. I have not, and never will be, one of those staff members who turn anti-WG upon leaving, because firstly I will never leave, and second WG means so much to me on a personal level I would never want to do anything to harm it. When you have spent such a long period of time in the clan that I have you will understand how much the clan really means to you. If elected into this position I will know that I have the ability to improve WG, and that is exactly what I will do.

6. What is your greatest weakness in terms of being a Leader?

I believe that my greatest weakness in terms of being a leader is the fact that I sometimes find myself rushing to make a decision without analyzing what I am about to do properly. I find that I go with my initial view or opinion on something just a little bit too much, without looking at the big picture. Being aware of a weakness is the first step to improving it and making it a strength.
7. What does WG need most at the moment and what will your main priorities be as a Council Member?

I believe that at the moment, WG needs to be ‘put back on track’ in order to become a (more) successful and dominant clan. By being ‘put back on track’, I mean the following:
  • Clear and set goals
I feel that WG needs something to aim for. Where are we going with PvP and raids? How strong do we want our relationship to be with our allies? Etc.
Being an ex-warlord, I am highly qualified to assist BTO with anything he may need serving as WGs warlord. With the whole idea of him going back down to raid leader which is not happening anymore (unless I am mistaken?), I think that he needs assistance in order to maintain the PvP aspect of WG. I can give that assistance.
Our relationships with our allies has definitely slipped over the past few months. If elected into council I will do all I can to help re-tie the bonds we once had with them and assist them in any way we can as we appear to be the clan in the best shape at the moment.
Basically I want WG to have a clear idea of what we want to achieve and how to do so.
  • Tertiary Leaders
It is clear that more (well another) raid leader(s) is (are) needed. Not only will I assist with appointing a new raid leader, I can also assist with the in-game leading itself. I can also assist with 'training' any new raid leader and give them much needed insight and advice.
Not only do I see the amount of raid leaders an issue, but event leaders as well. We have just lost Saad, our only EST event leader and a replacement must be found.
  • Events
If elected into the council I will make sure that the members are getting the types of events that they want. I will be ensuring that raid leaders host a good amount of raids, and the same goes for events and the event leaders. If it is needed I will start ‘breathing down the backs’ of our staff to make sure that they are doing their job properly to ensure a fully functioning WG.
I also want to try and improve the member input of important decisions that happen in WG. I will ensure that any and all ideas put forth by a WG member are discussed by the leadership and take proper action from there.

8. Is there anything coming up in the next 6 months that could make you inactive?

I suppose exams would make me less active as I would be normally for about two weeks, but other than that no.

9. Do you agree to provide the Council with two weeks notice if you wish to resign?

Yes. I have before and will do it again.

10. Is there anything else you would like to say?

I want those who still view me as a warlord or raid leader type of person to realize that I am aware that this election is for the spot of a general council. I want to prove that I do not just specialize in PvP but I can succeed at this job as well. Yes I will be able to heavily assist in that department, but it has been a more generalized role I have always wanted to have. The chance just never arose for me. Obviously I'm not going to put those skills to waste and do nothing with BTO about PvP and raiding, but I won't be taking a big role in that department. Yes I will help, but it won't be my first priority.

To those who doubt my activity having just stepped down from raid leader, I assure you all that I am back to activity for good, council or not. I now see that stepping down from my previous position was not the best of choices and a temporary inactivity would have sufficed, but now I see that it may possibly work out to be a good thing after all.

Good luck to you both Owen and David.

To the voters, do not vote for who you like the most or who you are closest friends with, vote for who you think will do the job the best

Thank you,

DZ | Sean
