Well, WG set the rules as rank defender, but i hope not old skool gear pretty unlikely rules for df, for raw full outs pvp gear allowed (maxedgear including sigils) is likely and much cooler in official wars

I highly doubt you are going to get max gear. However, I wish you best of luck in the declaration.

No it just shows which clan is richer.
Although I have no doubt that WG is substantially richer than when I was last in them.
A war should be settled on which clan has the better organisation, pull and tactics. Not purely on gear.

Yes clearly agreed, but (out)gearing is also a technical thing, how stronger gears, how longer and better the wars in my opinion

If it's in CWA we're not doing max gear, or at least I don't want it.
It then becomes a battle of who has the most cash and no who actually knows what to do in P2P.
PvP is far better as people won't be taking crap like sigil shields in just because they can.

Fine its clear you guys dont like maxed gear, so your gear rules are okay, but about PvP wars, we are totally NOT pvp based, later it will change ofcourse, hope you accept a clan wars war aswell

I find that slightly amusing. It surprises me that a clan at DF's strength nowadays is stuck to clan wars. Personally, I think it's for the ones who are too scared to take the big risks like clans did back in the day, and where their members don't want to lose their pixels when trying to win ranks.
No one in particular named of course. Though from DF who has 71 @ 130 P2P I expected a bit more balls as it were. Good luck to both clans if this goes through.

I agree with Ludo. WG is great in P2P but not a Clan Wars clan. Take it to PvP. Or are you not willing to lose some pixels for the RAW rank DF?

It might be the fact that they know WG will rape them in PvP. Clan wars balances things out a bit, cause the financial and psychological aspects aren't as profound.

Well to be fair DF is a CWA clan. I'm up for either tbh, but PvP would be awesome, especially if we did it in like a different area then the usual GDZ etc.

It has to be stuff you'd lose in PVP or else is your clan who all have insane gear versus us, who only have PVP gear.
Oldschool fight: Hell yeah
Newschool P2P Barrage Bank fight: Not in a million years

Which is why clan wars sucks.
WG risks tons of gear almost daily when raiding in P2P, and DF want to do a RAW P2P war in clan wars where they risk nothing and have all the opportunity to cheat (Not making accusations). I'd be insulted.
