Explanaton ~ Please read

By NightRawrs on 30/08/2009
Most people know that I was a raid leader early this year, and that I left WG. Most of you think it’s because I was jumping on the bandwagon to join either DI or DF. I didn’t join either of those clans. The reason I left was a commitment to school, and I know I could have gone to emeritus but I was so hooked up on WG I’d of still turned up for every event and It would have been pointless. Quitting was the only way I could commit to school. Seriously.

Alright, I’ve also been asked why I don’t step up at raids/wars even though I have experience. Well this is because it pisses me off when people who aren’t the ranks step up over people with experience, it’s happened loads since I’ve been back. So I’ve taken a back seat and decided to just let those people get on with it, as they think they’re good. If someone like BTO came up and asked me specifically before a war if I could step up, I’d say “Sure fine, as long as I’m in the fall in order” Which I’ve noticed we don’t seem to do anymore, why? Another reason is, I know I’d be able to find wars and make practises and do everything of what it takes to be a raid leader but the problem is I really hate playing RS. Other than at WG events, I love it with you guys. But my accounts epic so I don’t need to train (lols)

I’m also not going to apply for a raid leader position even if there’s a spot to be taken, as I haven’t been back in WG long enough that I’ll have the full respect to carry on as a raid leader. I’m going to wait a few months and maybe next year if you still need me, I’ll come back into action.

Thanks for reading, I hope that clears things up.

uhm i dont see anything in her post or in my post what she exaclty means... by stepping up over experienced/raid leaders

By Kwaichi on 30/08/2009
I know your reasons and I understand your situation.

By VEPHYSAURAS on 30/08/2009
Maybe examples? The raid leaders wouldn't allow it if they thought it would hurt too.

By Chimpy on 30/08/2009
I think what she means is when the FI leaders are calling piles and random people are like "GET ON "X"@@@". Which needs to stop, stay on the pile, doesn't matter if you're koing stomeone ou HAVE to stay on the pile.

By rachellove9 on 30/08/2009
Well I hope I don't do it. I have no idea what Fall in order means. I just follow the one that seems in charge of the raid or someone that will take me back to the pile if I get lost.

Jess you know you have my support in whatever way you decide to go.

If this is was Whizzy110 means, if i dont see the pile who we are pilling and ppl who are attacking him and dont spamming W *name* i cant help so i pile some else and i spam W *name* so we can get a good pile if they other person is dead.

Also if we have 20-25 ppl we dont need all 20 ppl on 1 person to ko him.

By DZ on 30/08/2009
I don't think we do a fall in order because we don't war as much as we used to.

Fall in order is the order in which who is set to be the caller.
So it would go Bto -> Leecable -> Darth Magul -> Gorgemaster -> and so on down the chain.

i think this is an issue with ordinance.

that's why war practices are essential. to teach the troops the protocols for warfare.

P2P raids is alot different than f2p raids.

You can have multiple piles in P2P and still get ko's.

It's alot better to have people calling that aren't leaders than to have no one calling and people sitting there confused. That's why I sometimes call piles. BTO asked for people with mics to do that.

By imtheganster on 30/08/2009
Srry but tbh if thinks arent getting explained it will go on and on and never get solved.

By Back to Own on 30/08/2009
In P2P, I allow anyone with a mic to speak and call piles. If the raid is small, I'll call single piles. However, in the situation that I die, I will allow anyone with a mic to step up, rank or not. Thats one of WG's problems in P2P; we simply do not have enough callers. Once me or lee are dead, usually we have to just simply hope that someone can step up. Teamspeak gives people confidence; if it goes quiet and all you here is me saying "anyone with a mic start calling," the panic settles in and there goes the fight.

If its large though, it depends alot more on callers. Most of the leading in P2P with the top clans isn't like our leading; It relies alot more on ingame spamming. The leaders just direct the clan to go where/etc, but dont have as much as influence.

However, when it comes to F2P, especially in the majority of mid-tier fights, its much better to use a single caller with backups. The exception I allow are for snipe leaders.

By ThisIsUnique on 30/08/2009
I'm always happy to help call in p2p when it's needed
but in f2p i dont really

By sgtswordfish on 30/08/2009
then why not organize and train.
organization is key to any fighting group. and if one thing that can help us coordinate wars is that organization. and in any case, if the leadership or "callers" do fall. we have to rely on drawing back, regain strength, and attack once more.

LOL try tanking 70 people in p2p....Thats like SHARK BREW SHARK BREW...and dead..70 people that can hit 40+ damage each...impossible. F2p..maybe.

Yea, I dont mind. As you can see, we are in need of another raid leader. Thats why I have been letting other people lead. To see what sort of experience we have. Like BTO said, we have kinda a set order, As soon as we die, we need people to step up and call piles and locations. We need to improve ingame spamming. Which is what I shall be getting on, when I get back from holiday.

By Nick on 01/09/2009
I so wish I was at more raids. Unfortunately my schedule doesn't allow me to be.

By Mmangler on 07/09/2009
Thank you for your candid narrative. I am glad that you took the real world seriously over RS though I for one missed you but RL is important and it does matter but I am glad that you are back.
