The cycle of pushing training

By rachellove9 on 30/08/2009
Some of the ones that were pushed are starting to resent some of the other members that don't train as much as they do. I had a pm with a member that feels this way. He wasn't mean with me, but I see his point. I don't think he is alone in his thinking.

Can we do more to promote training like in maybe 24 hour competitive events within the clan to train a combat skill?

Example: Range for 24 hours and post the results top person in each combat group gets 3 attendance, everyone else that gets expected amount of xp gets attendance for participating. Divide the clan in three groups when doing this. Do it by levels so like I'm not competing against the maxed people. It makes it more fun for the ones that are competing. Do it maybe once a month or something like that.

A think that a 24 hour thing would be too difficult because of timezones. I'm sure something similar could be worked out though.

This sounds a lot like my old idea of a sort of compressed trIning program which was later merged into CSOTW.

I could look at my idea again.

Time zones was why I was thinking 24 hours was a fair thing. It is a complete day for everyone.

David that might be good to review your idea.

I think I should probably wake up before posting on the forums from now on, 24 hours makes perfect sense lol looks like I wasn't thinking straight when I did my first post tongue.gif

I'm interested in David's idea of it. 24 hours though does conflict with time zones ya.

NO 24 hours makes sense. We all have to eat, sleep, school or work and ect in the same 24 hours just at different times. lol So if it starts in Aussie day then the Americans are asleep or the opposite.

Some days I'm too tired or don't feel like playing. I just don't know... Did David fish that idea up yet?
