I have just finished Death note, now i would like to watch Elfen lied.
But i have only one week time till my school start again. What should i watch ? Elfen lied (13 episodes) or Ergo Proxy (23) ?

Elfen Lied is absolutely awesome.

It depends on how much you watch a day though. Also on how good Ergo proxy is since I haven't watched it yet.

But I can say that Elfen Lied is enjoyed by a wide range of people.

Also, will you have people looking over your shoulder while you're watching? Because if so, don't watch Elfen Lied. Literally, I honestly think it crosses the line into pedophilia several times.

Still a superb series though, I wrote an essay on it in high school. Ergo Proxy is neat, but after awhile all the plot discontinuances and unexplained phenomena pile up so much that I just gave up on it. Kind of like Soul Eater; watched the first season, skipped the second season entirely because nothing at all interesting happened until the final two episodes, which were absolutely awesome. Maybe I should skip to the end of Ergo Proxy and see if the same thing happened.

But I'd also recommend you check out Bakemonogatari. It's currently airing and I love it. First episode is kind of on the fence but after episode two I've been hooked. Hope they can keep up the momentum for the full season.

Anyway, I'm absolutely addicted to the Asphyxiated Insanity Soul Eater AMV.
I think I'm going to buy the song.

Same. I watched a few more episodes then decided L's death was a good place to stop.

Death Note was a series that was great until the middle (L's death) became weaker and then went back up in the last few episodes again.

Although in general I just don't find Near as interesting as L.

This is taken from the Manga though, never saw the full anime.

All of those were really good AMVs. My fav was definitely Elfen Lied, but probably because it really fit the creepiness of the anime. That little bell thing thats going throughout the song is so simple, and yet so awesome. My second favorites were the Soul Eater ones though. The song was amazing compared to the other ones, imo. Makes me want to watch the anime, lol.

I actually found myself reading the Godhand chapters where that one chick gets assraped by demons while at work. Quit that and found something else to read til I went home.

The difference, of course, is Casca wasn't prepubescent.

I'm currently making a Grimmjow tribute using WMM, but I'm going to switch to Sony Vegas after that.

I haven't really watched a lot of anime lately, due to lack of time, but I love Death Note and Soul Eater (currently watching Soul Eater). I also agree with what you guys said about how DN became boring after L died. Although I liked...uh forgot his name but the guy who took over for Light for a time. It was a good last episode though, very sad. Soul Eater is hilarious hehe XD Just watched episode 6.

As for manga, I'm reading Bleach, Naruto, and Soul Eater and I finished reading Vampire Knight. I'm way behind in reading Naruto though >.< as I'm only on volume 12, but like I said, I don't have a lot of time.
