Well since I lead the fight and Lee didnt get attendance, I figured id make the rcap hashdown.gif.png

Some of you really didnt deserve the attendance after leaving when the fight was crashed, but I'll let it slip this time.

First fight:

Terrible. 3 People got koed within the first 30 seconds. Tanking was horrendous compared to LND. I know we have alot of potential and I've seen the tanking WG could do, but this was not a good war for us.

The war was crashed by NI so we decided to go to CWA to ensure we didnt leave empty handed

Second fight:

Actually, VERY good. Binding was SUPERB. Seriously, some of you deserve some real recognition for that. Tanking was pretty good too, but theres still room for improvement.

We had bad luck this fight, with one person accidently cabbage porting blush.gif and Randy DCing. However, it was really close. With some good tactics and good communication, we brought it down to 4-5 before I had to leave to eat out. We probably should have implemented mass binding much earlier for such a small fight, but we had excellent antisniping transitions, giving us a shot at 1-2 kill.

Only two really with this fight. We had a terrible turnout after the first fight got crashed; nearly half of you went off even though I said that we would have a fight. Spamming could have been alot better. Its a small fight, but its gotta be made into a habit. The only time we had spam towers was when I was reminding over teamspeak. I'll drill it into your memories eventually hashdown.gif.png

Really great job everyone. Despite the lost, we pulled it back from a pretty bad start from the first fight.

Also, there was some confusion with cutting with those unfamiliar with WG's policies. When its a matched war and we have to cut, we cut based on a couple of things:

QUOTE

Teamspeak - If you're not on teamspeak, you're first to get cut. If you're a leader, or even a 126, we dont care. No teamspeak = No fighting. Teamspeak allows us to be much more flexible and adapt to situations while coordinating attacks, so its a MUST have.

Levels - If you're a lower level, we will generally cut you next. Unless we know that you're very experienced or a very capable hybrid, you'll generally be cut. Levels are good.

Hybriding - If you bind, you have a good chance of making it.

Basically, if you want a good chance of being picked:

- Be on teamspeak
- Try to gain some levels
- Hybrid
- Prove your worth.

Overall, great job guys. Getting much better.

Didn't make it to the first war (So I'm not in the attendance pic) cos I overslept, but I managed to make it in time for the CWA. I had a bit of a shaky start, been a while since I f2ped properly, and the lag was horrendous.

I was getting sniped the entire fight, but managed to stay till me and DZ were left, only had half an invent of food by this time and got piled leaving DZ to cabbage port out hash.png

Although it was a loss, it showed promise for WG's F2P future, and I look forward to seeing us improve.

When was this...?

By Chimpy on 16/09/2009
Sorry bto, I actually did have to go after we got crashed, forgot I was going mountain biking with my dad >______>. But for those who really didn't have to leave, shame on you.

Learning experience.

You guys need to brush up on what exactly f2p involves. Everyone should know how to do both p2p and f2p.
Second, don't fight LND in PVP, they're the best. Tko stay in CWA because they suck at everything else and need to stack.

Lol I got k0ed so fast in the first 30 seconds. Lee died within like 10 seconds and i was still in robes.

But I tanked much better for 2-3+ minutes

cabageport@@@
you shouldn't be able to teleport out of cwa

By Lee on 16/09/2009
Was having serious connection problems, in the process of changing my ISP. My lag, is aboslutely horrendous. CWA, was ok, because it wasnt a PVP world. Which made it amusing, they decided to pile me, so i tanked LAL. Wont be dooing that again.

By kenaareke1 on 16/09/2009
their binding was win tbh, tanking was a pain, was at 40 hp all of the time, still managed to tank them till i was out tho

All in all, I'd say props @ WG. Although when i had to leave, the remaining numbers were, i think 5 and 7 in favor of LND, i saw some good bindin and tankin/huggin by WG.

Good job guys, and gals. smile.gif
