Constructive critism and motivating?

By ThisIsUnique on 26/09/2009
Well, I have been thinking and I've got some ideas for better preperation before wars and things like that. People should start getting ready 1-2hours before the actual war because theyre always late. If you know you got a war, then don't go do something u're not sure you'll be done when we mass.

You should get on teamspeak 1h before the mass time and start motivating and pumping each other! You should play our wg songs! You should help the ones who need help! You should concentrate right before war and if you would have a certain question/problem, please do not come right before war! You should fix the problems before the war. Working together with people u have a problem with does not work. The best thing is to get together in pm and make a pact and inform the council about it. This will make sure we stay together as a group, a family.

Also, the usual shit on the council before wars is just insane! You should be motivating each other, not flaming for fun. I mean come on guys, is that how you prepare for a match irl? Is that how you prepare for a soccer match? flaming and fighting ur teammates?

P.S. This is not a rant, It's just a little suggestion/constructive critism.
P.s.s. I luv u all wub.gif

Yes I agree that preparation is key to winning a war.
If you aren't prepared you are a drain on the whole clan during a war, however having said that I don't think that WG's pre-war prep is that bad.... we could be a little more prepared though I guess.

It's all about the mood of our members and if we got a bad mood hanging around, it's very bad for our prestations. With a tight family we will have better results

I just had a similiar idea. A war pumpage forum.

It's a forum where all we do is spam for the war and get really pumped. And your post count doesn't increase. Some clans use this and it does help them get pumped.

Where's the banner to remind people on the forum? I think getting people to actually remember and show up is important. If you see someone on the forum like an hour before and they are not one of the super active members, I think send them a friendly pm with something like:

Remember we have a war in _____ minutes. I hope you're able to come. It should be fun.

Stay away from being annoying and insulting them even if their response is very negative to you.

START PUMPING@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

like that

I agree, but 2-3 hours is useless. One hour before is too much, except perhaps for an official war...

However, you'll find out why you suck so much here:

Snowzak, 1hour before war on teamspeak, talking and things like that, encourage each other.
2-3hours before start spamming it, in irc, and maybe even forums on a special thing. start motivating

It's a matter of people need to use their brain and plan ahead. If you will be there just in time gear up beforehand if you're not very good ask for help early.

Yeh I realize now it came out pretty bad, kinda meant massing as when you actually log in fully geared. Ok I'll go hide now. huh.gif

Some people have busy lives and make it 10 minutes before# I'm usually there a hour early just to be safe though.
