Cat:
- Talk to it
- Feed it a variety of fish, doogled salmon, milk, etc
- Play with kitten with ball of string
- Hold full conversations with a catspeak amulet
- Stroke/pet it/interaction
- Get it to chase rats
- Use it in minigames
- Get variations like overgrown, lazy, hellcat
- Sell for death runes when grown
Dog:
- Talk to it, hear it woof
- Feed it meat
Does anyone else think this kinda unfair, dogs being man's best friend and all?

^ Down to opinion. I personally think both are great pets but let's face it - dogs are more of a man's preference. RS should offer opportunities for both.
