I would like to apologise for the delay in your applications.
Martinia, you applied at the end of September and your application has not been accepted yet.
We apologise for this inconveniance which has occurred due to temporary absences among the staff (one of the council's computers has gone wrong etc)

Lol, There's a hell of a lot more to the Wg application system, well when I did it, there was.
You won't know until you're actually there.
And until you experience how tedious it gets, you won't understand why Council are lazy about it.
Although if you had a break from Council & sat in a member's seat for a while, you'll notice how you could have done a better job when you were in the position.
I'm sure a lot of people are sitting at home now & thinking they would do a much better job than whatever the current Council is doing right now but it isn't that simple.
Although I could be wrong, there are a few rare exceptions where they could be right.

Well Abs that mainly has to do with the fact that the view from the top is usually quite different from the view from the bottem. Although sometimes acting in favour of the members is the worst thing to do and getting people to hate you is better than doing the things they want. A concept that JaGeX tend to sway a bit on, between understanding it and not understanding it at all.
I have no real quips about the WG application system at all. I'm just challenging the fact that people are making it seem a larger deal than it really is.
My disagreements with WG's system are on different matters. But as I no longer play RuneScape or am in WG so it doesn't really matter.
