But with #wg_staff, if there were multiple staff online, you could have a discussion quickly and effectively without needing to spam up/refresh level 3, and then once the staff in the discussion have come to some sort of agreement, it can then be brought to level 3.

It's all well and good complaining about staff, but if the members don't attend the events either.

My Monday Minigame Madness, people voted Stealing Creations, 6 people turned up (None of which voted for stealing creations, 3 of which were staff). There were plenty of other people online that just ignored me when I pmed them reminding them of the event, some of which I know voted for SC.

That was an interesting conversation and both agree and disagree with certain parts.

Yeah I love the fact that they have so much energy and want to improve WG.
I like how they want to make WG better.
I like how they are trying to get others motivated as well.

The only part that I disagree with (and would have stated then if I wasn't studying) that not everything lays on the staff. We're doing our jobs it's the members who aren't pulling their weight. Look at the example Owen just gave in this topic. We're making the events, people aren't showing up. Even at that raid last week Randy was ranting about I had several people on other worlds that when I Pmed them, they ignored me.

Like yeah we can still do a bit more but I think we're doing enough. It's up to the members to set up their game. Once we see that they are ready and want to improve, that's when we'll up ours.


Another thing, the idea of members taking over events when no leader is online to host hasn't gone over too well. I've told a few people to go ahead and take over when no staff is online regardless of their rank, but so far no one has really done anything.

Tweek might after I talked to him. This week is going decent, I aimed higher then I could and failed little bit(school). Better to aim high then to aim low though even if you don't get everything. I hardly ever had trouble getting people to my events when I'm on. There was probably one such instance.

We still need to improve activity. Improve recruitment. Especially improve members staying. We need a high pull to the raid. We definitely need some kinda staff conference often(haven't read the topic yet near this one).

So we know what to do right?

Get them recruits and apps pumping through and try to appear active even if you aren't at you're ideal level.
