New Laptop

By Yingyang06 on 01/04/2008
I went out and bought a new laptop on Monday biggrin.gif It's a HP Laptop with a TV Tuner and a 5 in 1 card reader. My old laptop kept overheating so i needed a new one. This one cost me £599.

nice, im looking for a 17in gaming laptop....something that makes COD4 and CSS graphics and sounds amazing, but have no idea about anything on cpu's. I am thinking of getting a Mac but have no idea how to use crossover games or boot camp and ive heard that css has some problems if you play it on mac and idk **** about cod4 yet, so just buying a mac and getting the graphics/sound cards is in the air....windows would be cool, but I have no idea what to get that would be good for games like those...i hate cpu's so confusing and way to many imo..

I bought that type of laptop before I got my Macbook Pro. The thing was a total lemon. The screen wouldn't turn on, as in I could log on, but it was as if an external monitor was connected. Th thing just fell apart basically.

My dad's is now doing the same, except it's more serious because he has important documents on his laptop.

Hopefully yours doesn't fall apart. I don't trust HP anymore.

I got the dv6000 model back when that type of HP just came out.

^ Never had problems with HP before smile.gif

That's awesome. I really wish I could say the same. Everything about the thing was nice, except for the fact that it fell apart.

Lies. Macbook Air lacks a disc drive, battery life, and a suitable price. Apple doesn't have any other new and exciting product on the market, that's the only reason they're promoting it so heavily.

Good choice going with the Hp!
