With the Use of Summoning!

:Requirements:
52 Summoning

:Step One:
Find a house with an open gilded altar. Travel to the Yanille bank and summon a Spirit Terrorbird.

:Step Two:
Fill your inventory with as many tireless run scrolls as you have. Fill the rest with 27 dragon bones.

:Step Three:
Use the "Store" option on your spirit terrorbird. Store 12 bones in the bird's inventory (thats the max). Withdraw another 12 bones from the bank to your inventory.

:Step Four:
Run to the house, enter, use up all your bones. Go to the summoning familiar interface, and click the "Take Beast of Burden items." Use up those bones and run back to the bank.

:Step Five:
When you hit the bank, you may relize your run energy is low. This is the time to use the special, "Tireless Run" which does:
QUOTE (Knowledge Base)
2 point Agility boost, and restores your run energy based on your normal Agility

Use the special until you completely recharge your energy.

:Step Six:
The Spirit Terrorbirds lasts 35 minutes. when the time runs out, don't worry. There are some altars nearby to recharge your summoning.

The red route is faster. The only reason I mentioned the blue is because some players prefer the Castle Wars tele method.

Goodluck!
P.S. Summoning is NOT useless!

This is very helpful! I bet a lot of people with 99 prayer are kind of mad now seeing as it is getting even easier to level!

By Karlfischer on 02/04/2008
Just wait till they come out with the double runecraft exp. gloves...

Btw, very nice guide, but 99 prayer is too pricey and time-consuming for me, lol.

Very nice smile.gif

Also add that this would work with any Beat of Burden. Also advise people to get charged headgear that way you can use your entire inventory, rather than use a space for the scrolls, have a helmet store a bunch of em for you.

nice guide but i dont like summoning =(

By Carrot166 on 02/04/2008
Nice now its time to actually train summoning other than using tears of guthix to lvl it. Nice Guide.

Terror birds supply a run energy special which makes it faster than holding say 5 more bones.

And tireless run doesnt work in headgear! sad.gif

This is probably faster then using a glory and teleporting back to house
Great guide, I would have never thought of it

By ArSeNaLfAn32 on 03/04/2008
Wow dude. Excellent guide! I wouldn't be suprised if there are other things this works for as well! I believe it works for runecrafting as there is a thingy there, too! I suggest finding what else it works for!

By Indivi2you on 03/04/2008
wow, never thought of it.
Lol, teles would be better, but the extra 12 spots helps a lot!
i'm just a few lvls from 52. will do soon enough, if i ever train prayer again!

great guide randy!

I still feel Home Tele/Glory is fast enough for me when I did it but if you could tele to your house with these BoB creatures, then it'll definitely be much faster.

Great guide Randy, it looks fantastic too. thumbsup.gif

I actually use this method.
Just under 10k xp per trip.

Is the Spirit Terrorbird the best familiar to use?

What about the Pack Yack or the War Turtle? Is this one recommended simply because of the special ability?

Just wondering if there are other options.

By Troll84 on 08/04/2008
Awesome biggrin.gif I'll try this method out when i start training prayer again smile.gif Doubt that will be for a while though as i'm focusing on Summoning for my Combat levels atm tongue.gif Thanks for the info though smile.gif

By Ansatsublade on 10/04/2008
oooh... a reason to work on 52 summon.. thanks smile.gif

By Alexo37683 on 09/06/2008
That's a good idea, and to be honest, I never even thought about using it on prayer lol

By For Sooth on 18/08/2008
red may be faster, unless...your house is in yanille

By Ansatsublade on 21/09/2008
Not only on prayer, but I used it for construction too tongue.gif

By Eregion2 on 21/09/2008
I've been using a terrorbird for prayer the last few days, the extra 3K per trip is really nice. smile.gif

one thing... use summon pots rather then the summoning column thing. They are cheap and give alot of summon pts back.

epic bump

By Catestrophe on 24/08/2009
i used tortoise for prayer which can store more bones then terrorbird so more xp, works really good.

By Tnuac on 24/08/2009
Nice one. Would actually try this if I could afford dragon bones

Since we're posting on really old topics, I might as well add that with the new update to Construction you should build yourself a menagerie as soon as possible and use the in-house summoning obelisk to completely replenish your summoning points.

Not just for this quick prayer leveling, but it's also a fantastic investment and a very useful room.

wow that is amazing update. What lvl do we need? I may work on con.

By David on 25/08/2009
You've got the level for it Rachel. I think it's 42 or something like that for the obelisk and 37 for the room.

By demomc on 26/07/2010
basic guide but very nice

By rachellove9 on 27/07/2010
This was a great topic when it was made. I'm locking it now.
