Why was maths banned?

Mathsnerd was suspended for like 2000 years... but ... why...?
I don't understand why....

If that's the only reason, he doesn't deserve that ban.
Perhaps i'm forgetting something major?

Oh yeah, i'm saying this because he wants to reapply if he can, fairly soon.
He's apologised to me for his mistakes, I think he's changed. We're actually getting on really well now (him and I never used to)

I recall him badmouthing WG about 6 months ago.
Don't know why the change of heart all of a sudden after zero contact for so long.

Well can we think about unbanning.
Unless anyone can think of a reason for keeping it.

With Mickey getting "unbanned", people will get EVEN MORE pissed off at council than they are now if we unbanned Gary.

I'm his friend and all, but so we don't get shit on more, No.

But Gary was unjustly banned.

Did the digging.
Randy had given his two weeks notice.
Maths was being a dickhead.
Randy did what he did out of anger to Maths. Over the top yes, but understandable given how rude Maths was.

This is for randy to decide but i thought i'd add my input anyway.

I've been good friends with maths for the past 2 years, so i guess this might come off as a bit biased.
But anyway, maths never seemed like a bad person, never tried to harm WG or anything, just for some reason didn't get along with Randy too well. Though yes that is not an excuse, what he said on your goodbye post was out of line, i dont think it was worth the 60% warn he was given for it though.
For the last week or so he did seem really keen on joining WG, i've talked to him a little about it and i do think he has changed. If he wanted to join this badly i don't think he would hinder his chances by being a troll or w/e either.

Makes me chuckle that our leadership can forgive our banned members so easily with a few kind words.

Do you remember why he was banned in the first place?
Well, first he left because we weren't doing so well (dedication at its finest). Next, he ran into us at one of our pk trips a day or two after (tracking?). Of course, he HAD to attack us and follow us. I told him to get lost or he's considered an enemy of the clan. He laughed and continued to follow us. I warned him on the forums which led to flaming which led to his eventual ban.

Sounds like such a great member guys! Since we're so desperate for members lets just unban everyone!

You know me to be a strict leader, hopefully.
I don't go easy on my bans, but I do look at INTENTION as well as action.
A few kind words aren't going to cut it for me either.

He has to do more.
Have a talk with him and see for yourself if he's any different.
If not, post so and I'll keep him banned.
If he IS changed though, then there's nothing wrong with taking him back.

You can let him rejoin.
I don't think he should start fresh though.
Keep some warn levels on him and remove them over time.

Idc what the members think as long as Maths behaves.

I agree he should not start completely afresh... keep 20-40 on him... I suggest 20% but keep him on a VERY short leash.
