Practices?Recruitment?

By Littledanish on 03/11/2009
Before anything is said, I'm not blaming anyone or complaining at all, im suggesting that we do something about it, today everyone was pissed because we lost a war, stop complaining and take action, being in a clan is a commitment and you commit to it. Maybe your friends mean a lot to you.. personally they mean a lot to me too, but that doesn't mean im going to flake out on a commitment to my fellow clanmates. WG means a lot to me, i know i haven't been here long but i feel at home more than any other clan i have been in... that being said here are some things to think about.

TOPICS:

Binding=Fail
Warring=Average
p2p=Average
Ops pulled-ratio to ml=average.
Skilling events=Fun
f2p wars=need to step it up a bit on activity in wars.. however lots lately.. good.
f2p raids=nonexistant?

Wg should be scoring above average in all these don't you guys think, were #3 on R.A.W. i kno Raw is fail atm but it counts for something to me, if we got challenged tomorrow for our R.A.W. spot on either p2p or f2p... ask yourself would we win undoubtedly?

If the answer is Yes: your living in dream lala land. And need to think... i see posts on RSC of clans with 70+ people... clans i have never even heard of pulling higher ops with somewhat higher or equal lvls as we pull...problem here?

If the answer is no: We need to do something about it, make some events that involve war practices... something guys... i love to war and raid but i dont love it when we are losing wars and failing on pk's... however p2p raids are the shiznit no matter what happens... lolz. People complain about binding... well we always are playing p2p... who here p2p binds? i sure as hell don't that foo gets barraged or blitz'd... warring comes from the basic techniques of raiding... if we dont f2p raid then we suck at f2p warring... not saying we do im just saying it LEADS in that direction.

The bottom line is, inactivity, and failure of commitment towards clan seperates people,destroys clan bonds, and somewhat kills the spirit of a clan... i personally dont think that would happen... but we need to improve attendance 200% and definetely need f2p raids if we expect to get better at f2p warring, half the people in WG don't like f2p raids... i get that, but what happens when we war and lose everytime...we become somewhat of a joke. 2-3 years ago all i heard about was DF+CoL+RoT+WG now its all turned no one acknowledges WG as the great clan it is, were hitting a slump and we need to overcome it and show the clan world the power of the WG spirit and the strength of our clan.

Suggestions, comments, thoughts and ideas are all welcome.

War practices are stupid. We get 5 people who come, all of which, who can already bind and tank.

Suggestions?

Possibly do a practice but with sign ups similar to a planned war.

Gives people no excuse for "o i didn't see it"

Mandatory or no.

Honestly you make me giggle in rl when you say that the ones that need practice didn't come. I came to so many of these back when they were being done. We all know I'm one of the ones that could use lots of practice.

To me this is a lame excuse to not have practice. So what if only 5 show up, our raid leaders are smart enough to figure out a way to still make the time productive. If I can learn from Tweek when just Fishy and I go to a practice with him, then I can learn from a practice with a "raid leader" AND "five".

Just do it. I'm going to start hosting practices if not. Weeeeeee won't that be fun. lol

Which'll probably turn out better wub.gif

5 people is easily enough for a war practice... well, a 5v5 practice anyway blink.gif

A win is a win and a loose is a loose. I don't really think of striving to be the top but to be individual and unique. War practices are something that should be enforced as there are 3 raid leaders.

MANDATORY.

we want active members, if they'd rather fish then go to a practice that will get us to a decent clan size then screw them. Honestly, I hate to sound rough, but this is a clan for a game in a REAL WORLD.
