Ludo i hacked Vegas pro and Camtasia with torrents so you should do that .

If your computer's pretty good in terms of RAM and CPU, get Camtasia. HOWEVER, I suggest if you want to record in HD or fullscreen you get Hypercam (Worse quality, less lag) and edit out the "unregistered hypercam bullshit".

Vegas is the way to go for edits... I reccomend Pro 9. It's like WMM but with loads more, takes some time to get used to but worth it.

As far as lag goes, thats going to depend on what codec you use and what settings you use - this is the same for all recording programs. Remember that the less processing your comp has to do, the less CPU used, and the less lag.
