Calendar Discussion

With all the new Raid Leaders and Events Leaders, we're going to be getting an increased influx of events. This is a good thing but we need to make sure it's organized. We already have a calendar feature on the forums and we barely use it. Reason is probably because it's hidden. We should find a way to increase the use of this.

1. All staff should start adding events to it.
2. Can we remove the weekly D&D and ToG? We don't even do them.
3. Update the event times tab?
4. Possibly a sig that says "CLICK HERE FOR EVENTS" or someshit like that.

D&D, probably getting rid of that.


As for ToG, we always do that one.. O_o

Oh wow. I didn't know the Calendar had it set for 3 different ToG events. It's always just been every saturday.

Calendar is open to public.

That'd be a pretty good idea, actually. Make a sticky in both PvP/Community forums that say

Events happening this month!

• Scavenger Hunt
• Nh fgt's 99 attack party

Etc etc.

I support the idea of having a topic saying when there is an event. It's easier. And to be honest I don't think anybody will bother looking into the Calendar. What about the Events hub in SK?

And yeah.. Get rid of D&D.. Nobody does em anymore. But ToG is still very active..

Yep. Don't need D&D anymore. We always do one ToG event though.

I host D+D but only when I have the time (hols) as I did a few weeks ago.
However take it off the weekly.

I'm just wondering if there's a way to integrate the Calendar SOMEHOW into the news box... i'll have a chat with Robbie.
It may not be possible.

To my knowledge most events are not viewable by the public, except for PUBLIC events (which you can set on the Calendar as "viewable by public").

So they can't see the others...
