Right, I probably should have thought of this earlier but a very recent example came up today, so I'm trying to think of a way to avoid this.
Last night I had suspended Zeke for 14 hours from both the forums on IRC. Zeke had PM'd Bam, telling him that he was banned from #wg Bam went and unbanned him, because who wouldn't if a member is saying that they've been banned? After Zeke said that it was I who banned him, Bam then put the ban back on.
So, what can we do to avoid things like this?
Well I could have taken Zeke off the invite list, but I didn't feel like it. If you are banned from a channel you can't talk in it, I felt that was punishment enough.
So, in the future, ask how the member got banned. If they say something like "I don't know" obviously they are lying. If they say "(person) banned me", let the person who banned them deal with it. I think we are all smart enough to remember who we've banned from #wg.
Thanks.

See, the thing that members don't know is they actually can't get banned from #wg, if your banned you just invite back in, so make sure you ban them from the lobby too until I work something out, a new script.

Or !delai them for the time being, and just voice them in lobby? There is almost always some one who can do it active in lobby. (any op or me)
