Current underground exchange rates suggest that 2m Runescape gold costs about £6 ($10).

Heh, in my day it was £2.50/mil. 20% increase in 3 years... I suppose that's due to the crackdown on RWT. I'd like to see the exchange rates after the trade limit was announced.

I remember when it was £5 a mill, many people just sold pins at a mill a piece smile.gif

LOL this is sort of extreme.

But I head WoW actually sued some Gold Farming site and made like millions of dollars back, so I guess it really isn't compared with Blizzard.

Tbh, Jagex shouldn't fight RWT, they should endorse it.

Discuss.

By Sum-41xx on 01/12/2009
Yeah I agree. People spend a lot of time playing RS so it's good to see that Jagex is actually cracking down on those lurers that take advantage of people falling for their tricks.

TBH I read the description of the guy arrested and I thought of Steve.

PS - FBI has jurisdiction in america...it's you're own crime busters ya morons. They'll touch you as much as they want to.

That's hilarious. Really. Jagex trying to set an example, pathetic, haha.

We have a recession, a swine flu pandemic, an undermanaged and underfunded war in Afgan, one of the worst waste problems in Europe, and I quote,

"Public spending is facing a £36bn squeeze from 2011. With health and education protected, the axe would fall on defence, housing, transport and higher education. "

So, let's spend our time arresting people breaking Runescape rules.
