Redo the App forums

First impressions are always the greatest and after a little thought I think ours is way too complicated. When we redid it last time we thought it looked professional but now I feel like it's confusing and overcomplicated.
First I think the Membership Applications forums should be split into two forums. One for Introductions and one for Applications. These forums should definitely be near the top, not the bottom as the currently are.
Second, I think the rules are a bit extreme. Not the rules themselves but the way they are presented. The rules page is so long it takes a while to scroll down and I garuntee no one ever bothers to read them.
Third, the parts that ask "Topic Title" field, please type: "Application: YourRsNameHere" and "Topic Description" Field, please type the current date in dd/mm/yyyy format are very unnecessary. We require them to use their RSN and the date is already on the topic when they post it.
Fourth, I'm against the screenshot picture. I already suggested this about graduation. I think referrals do a much better job because it shows they got to know them and didn't just add people randomly. Plus it's a hassle "ADD ME PL0X!!1!"
Fifth, the standard equipment post is sloppy. Just post ONE screeny of everything, not a bunch with giant lists.
Tl;dr get rid of the walls of text and dumb it down a bit. Most people that are interested in joining aren't here for business propositions.

There is no "I'm poor" excuse, the reqs are simply unneccesary. We won't have a gear problem because 1) With the state RS is in with 76ks and dragon bones being at 4k each, a level 70 could sustain himself with WG's demand for events, and 2) After we get accepted we sell half the gear anyway and still have more than enough.

Yes we should.
If we start recruiting members with one set of rune we will be screwed when they lose it. And when we sign up for wars their excuse would involve having no rune sets ready.. I agree on making some changes but removing them entirely would be suicide.

There are NO level 100+s in the clan world with only one rune set. If you have P2P, you can make 5 more sets in a day if you have one set already and can lend a good weapon off someone.
Finances are the least of our problems when we hit triple-figures.

No, you are completely wrong. You're speaking for yourself.
At EVERY raid people leave early because they get angry/frustrated/upset at dieing and losing their gear (sparked this rant). I witness this at all raids and most pkris. There's always those people who refuse to lose their stuff no matter what the cause is. You have to have gear reqs. WG recruits people using a community approach and is misleading to our actual goals. If we want to grow stronger we have to make sure everyone is prepared and we have no weak links.
OK, so you sold your req gear, congratulations. I'm warning you and every WG member, when the time comes you better be ready to return. We require at least 10 rune sets which equals 10 returns. Slackers will have 10 or less, dedicated members will have 10 or more.
