CWA is not an appropriate environment to host practice for PvP.

It was actually at the FFA Arena, which simulates GDZ very well. Which is in the wilderness. So yea, Discussion OVER.

There is no way in hell i could agree with you more, first it starts out as an event leader saying "Hey lets CWA war practice." a few months go by and all your good at is CWA... then it turns into the only place you war EVER... personally if its mandatory or not i will never show up to a CWA war practice... if its a PvP war practice i'll attend EVERY one i possibly can.

Pvp practices are a waste of rune of the wg members. Cwa ffa safe practices give a equal practice without losing the rune. /topic

Lee did not take us to a bad place for practice. You need to be more open to the idea that the area we were at is almost exactly the same as an area I've been to in the wild. I have come here on my own before with Tweek and Fishy. Lee's choice of the area was a good one.

I for one will try to attend any practice we have. It doesn't matter who is hosting it really cause I am open to learning from everyone. Let's just stick to the end goal here.

We want to as a clan improve? Then help some of the weaker members by showing up for practice if you are the pro at it. If your weak at pvp then you should be there anyway. As I see it, we all benefit if we just cooperate with the raid leaders.

PvP
- Completley different environment, not just in terms of objects but height of the landscape, camera ability, catering for snipers, etc.
- Previous experience from pre-10/12/07
- Risk of losing items, possibility of gaining items
- Fighting a completley different clan in terms of skill, levels & experience
- Result can have major profound effects on both clans in many different ways

How does CWA cater for any of that?

The best way to practice for wars IS to war. Even a steel war in PvP would be better, for at least it has some risk even at the sacrifice of gear stats. Unless you plan to convert WG to a cwa clan, which I think some may be unhappy about, don't prepare our members for a cwa environment. Better yet, don't lie about it.

Rach, yes its not a bad place to practice i will admit, but what a/b those people who only go into the wildy with WG on a raid... they don't really know their way around the wilderness, that is another key aspect of practices.. you learn your way through the wilderness, the last thing we need in a pkri is people not knowing where to go or where they are.

Keanu, U can make the same thing with the army
it isn't the same when they're being trained as it is on battlefield.
U don't send out soldiers that haven't learned the basics on a safe area first.

We aren't the army, we're a Runescape clan. The main difference is, the army NEED training because they only have one life. In Runescape, you can die but you learn from your mistakes, gain experience and get better for the next round. But getting experience in a completley different area to where we do our proper wars is counterproductive.

You sir are acting like a complete dumbass.

If you even read what Lee wrote you would understand why.

The event was in The FFA area which IS GDZ. It's not clan wars. Keanu I'll say this nice and slow for you, it is nottttttttttttt clannnnnnnnnnn warssssssssssssss.

Did that sink in?

What worries me despite all this, is your new profession as the drama llama, unrest causing person whom despite claims to offer constructive criticism seems to offer nothing but mindless twaddle.

Are you deliberately trying to do this? In my previous experience as clan leader these people are often not looked down upon in a great light. and trust me, it won't get you very far.

There are distinct differences between CWA and PVP and yes you post did highlight some of these you missed the boat in that the practise was at the FFA arena, however you wouldn't have known that now would you.

Make of it what you want, a personal attack, constructive criticism, it's here for you to read.

Keanu, what the hell are you on about?
CWA war practises are VERY effective at training people.

In fact, an official war practise in on par with a war in terms of importance.
If we're gonna fuck up, it had better be with a practise.

Training for a match, have you ever heard of teams practising in small groups and then coming together for the match? Its disaster dude.

Get over it, it was a good choice by the raid leaders to do this and it was vital to the clan's progress. A whole clan war practise was what we needed.

That you skipped was a violation of the clan rule to respect the chain of command.
