He has the right to speak his mind all he wants I just don't think most of it is necessary and like Mark and Fredje said, cause unrest and trouble.

Very good post Sgt and I agree with most of it.

We have to take a few deep breathes and focus on what we hope to accomplish as a clan.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and we should all be able to voice it.

With that said, you need to have the maturity to bring up your opinion in a respectable manner.

I respect Keanu for his opinions and I'm happy he's voicing them but I disagree on the way he present them. Secondly; why is he so cooked up about it? He wasn't even there and he didn't miss anything in his real life.
I ain't carrying a grudge against Keanu but objectivily spoken, he isn't listening to what we're telling him as much as we listen to him. Alot of his opinions is the direct opposite of what WG is and it sometimes make me feel that he's saying alot of gibberish only to start a debate.. I hope my observations are wrong because I like Keanu.. He's a great guy but he need to think before he speak sometimes. That actually goes for everybody.. We won't advance if we can't respect eachother.

I just hope we'll get over this bump in the road fast enough to focus on WG's needs again. This is unneccasary

one thing is speaking your views and another is publicly shaming someone. i was suprise that the leadership didn't go ahead and ban but then again, i'm just your average player.

thus this case is one of disrespect not only to a superior but to the clan overall and there's much proof of many accounts of it. both in #wg_lobby, #wg, forums and if we look in dept. much much more.

but if i may speak as an individual, i rather not lose anyone since every wg member is great. but if it came down to keanu preaching and someone trying their hardest. i'll take my chances with the member who works hard everyday instead of listening to keanu righteousness.

The problem with Keanu, in my experience, is that he is in love not with what WG is, but what WG has always represented in his mind before he was ever a part of the community, let alone the clan.

As a result he is very oppinionated on allot of issues that he 'thinks' WG should be worried about, yet he does not realise that allot of the things that he makes 'big issues' out of are not a big problem for WG. How long have we done war practices in CWA? 18 months+?

I'm not 100% sure what the big 'FML' about Keanu is this time, but I would assume it is because of a difference between the WG of Keanu's "minds eye" and the actual WG that exists. Untill he lets go of that image of WG we'll have to get used to his drama.

we have theevildead who is more than willing to deal with keanu drama. i'm not saying that he's wrong but he can be quite the annoying brat.

if he feels that wg has to be ideal then he's more than welcome to add upon. =D

After reading into it a bit more I now understand a bit better what the issues of the last day or so have been and I think the post above pretty much covers it all. Keanu has an idea of WG that differs from the actual Wg that we have today, and it is getting beyond ridiculous hhow outspoken he is. As with many people in WG I do agree with free speech, but he sticks his nose into any and every issue there is whether he is involved or not, look he even says it himself:

The fact of the matter is, I knew issues like this would come up long before Keanu was in WG. When you have such a strong image (pretentions) of what you want from a clan it is almost inevitable that it will not fit the bill.

I think it is time Council/Leadership started to assess exactly how much drama causing by Keanu you will tolerate, because it looks like Lee has reached the end of his tolerance..... and I would rather Lee as RL than Keanu 'helping' WG in any way/shape/form.

Admittedly, I was more shocked when I saw littledanish' attitude towards Ludo/Fred which I think is totally unacceptable (and I assume has resulted in a warn?), there is no need for shit like that, espescially from a new-ish member.

Lee/DZ crated a lure topic saying a full out vs. Dragonwood, when actually his intention was a high-pull War practice. WG Keanu did not attend it.

Drama was caused because of the 'lieing' by staff to get a higher than normal pull to the tank practice (successfully I might add). Keanu is sticking his nose in and getting all uppity (I think he has, as always, the largest amount of posts on the thread(s) relating to it) even though he did not attend, nor did he ever intend to.

Ie. Keanu & a few other *newer* members are creating drama for no reason.

that lure event was a f'ed up idea....i actually had to cancel some stuff, which was important, just to attend that war. So i fully understand why some people might cause drama.

but i'm not going to get too deep in here.
