Ranging, and especially trbriding, is SOOOO important in Range wars. It's what gets you ko's, and it really bruns through the person's food who's tanking. Melee attacks are nearly useless against prot melee.
However, WG doesn't seem to really see the light in range yet, and every war with range aloowed, it isn't exploited. We have 23 members with 95+ range, 20 with 99. A huge untapped potential.
At every range allowed war, we should aim to have 5-8 rangers/trbrids.
What is Tribriding you ask? It's when you have melee, binds, and range. And you Range with robes on so that you can bind. It's VERY effective, and is often the deciding factor in wars.
Here's a pic of what your setup should be.

You can put your dhide legs on if you want more range bonus. But anyways as you can see, you still have a decent mage and range bonus with this. If you're getting sniped, put on your regular range gear (dhide), with maybe rune skirt on if the sniper won't get off of you. Also you're gonna need alot more arrows, I only had 76 so smd.
It might be weird and awkward at first, but once you get used to it, it's not any harder than melee/binds.
This wins us wars, so step up and do it. In my opinion, it should be required to tribrid if you have 95+ range.
So yeah, if you want to win Melee/Binds/Range wars, like the one we have coming up vs LND, you HAVE to have alot of tribrids to win, simple as. We WILL lose if you don't take range seriously, because I guarentee you that LND will have plenty of rangers/trbrids.
