No they don't actually call you. I personally think they want your "private" information like IP adress and such so they have a certain amount of player mods from each time zone on at any specific time. Also, if you log in from many different zones (like China, then America, then China, etc.) then they know that you are using your account for goldfarming.
Plus you can always call them and get direct help, but it never worked for me.
I use to be a player mod from 2004-2007 so if you ever need some help, feel free to ask me. I still remember a lot of stuff.

I might add that though they ask those details I have never seen them need to use them, I would assume they are for some sort of security purposes though I have never had any evidence of that.
Of course I would reccomend you delete the pic in a week or two as it *technically* is confidential
