The Same Name for All

A bunch of us (ShankASkank, Tweek900, Ray and me) thought of this idea where either..

1) everyone the same level in the clan gets gets the same runescape username with variation

or

2) everyone in the clan gets the same runescape username with variation

Like imagine if everyone had a variation of the name "O0 0O O0" or whatever. If EVERYONE had that name, it would be amazing during wars. The other clan would be like "okay, get on O0 O0 O0...oh shit"

When I thought of it, it was sort of a joke but the other guys actually thought it would be a good idea

Not a new concept, a TON of other clans are doing it atm. I wouldn't care either way.

I made a topic a few weeks back asking if WG would be willing to do so. We only got about 5 or so that said yes...

So far myself, Lee, Danish, Caim, DZ, and Keanu have WG in front of their name.

i agree.. it would b to hard for the oather clan to pick out just 1 of our members every1 would b confused

I do not agree to this and I find it annoying when people switch name every month. It's okay if it's similar to the old name but when you change every month I can't be bothered finding out who you are.

I hate the username update.

wg isnt as much of a warring clan as of yet to do this.

maybe we should focus on training at wars, and then winning wars, increasing ACTIVE member count, THEN doing this.

And if we did do it it would have to be something like "lrgshaft8942" with variations of numbers at the end. Something more difficult would be better probably. like WG12x234fs2 or something. But w/e could care less if we do this or not.

This will never work in WG. Not enough people will change it to make it effective.

It is a possibility for me to do this when I come back for the holidays. Just give me a few days and I will be an active emeritus.

This has been suggested before, and I'll give the same response I have given every other time.

No I will not change my display name, like maths I don't want to be 'just another "WG_X" account' and I am not one of the people who only play RS for WG, as that is what it seems most people who are happy to be 'WG_X' seem to fit into.

It would seem pretty pointless even with like 75% support, because all it would mean is the non-name changers would just get picked off because they're 'easier' to call piles on.

Not so keen on changing my name.

WG_name I agree with... cause I have it... but many people would disagree with changing a name that has some sort of meaning to it for the sake of confusing opponents in wars.
