What it Takes For Elite Guardian

By Abmanju on 07/04/2008
Welcome to Level One & Three Quarters. Only Higher Guardian+ can see this forum.
The purpose of this forum is mostly for important clan discussions that only Higher Guardians should vote on/discuss on. You may also talk about Guardians that you feel uncomfortable with.

What it takes for Elite Guardian

Elite Guardian is the ultimate respect, it is seen as the most respected rank while being a normal member. After Elite Guardian, you're into the Staff, Applications for Staff are very rare. Elite Guardian is the rank where you will be expected to come to every event and be polite to everyone. This is the rank where most of the Future Leaders are chosen from.

You need to do everything you did when you tried for Higher Guardian as well as many months of loyalty towards the clan:

QUOTE (Snowzak)
On the forums:

-Greet new members
-Make High Quality Posts of a certain Length
-Be Helpful
-Positive attitude (no negativity)

On IRC:

-Say hello to people who enter
-Don't spam, repeat lines too much
-Spamming event notifications when they are approaching
-Be Helpful
-Avoid flaming, provocation

On RuneScape:

-Attend Events as frequently as possible.
-Add other WG members and speak to them
-Train combat skills
-Coming to another member if he needs help

On RSC/Public Forums:

-Display a positive image of WG
-Follow that forum's rules
-You represent WG, so don't flame/bait
-Attempt to recruit members to the clan

Overall:

Be helpful, enthusiastic, mature, active, polite, don't suck up, strive to be as good a member as you can. Participation remains very important.

Remember, Promotions are hand picked by Staff, you will need to make sure what you do for Wg gets noticed. However, DO NOT go towards Staff and say what you have done Wg and hinting for a promotion. It will send the Staff the other way towards you.
