Ghost Stories

I cannot help but notice that it has been kind of gloomy lately. I never did get a chance to tell you My ghost story but there is a twist. I am not at all sure that you are interested so I will tell you the first part of the story and if there is interest I will tell you the rest of the story.
Before I begin, I want to point out that it is after April 1 and that this is NOT a joke. This really happened.
Once long ago when I was much younger than I am today. I drove from the base where I was assigned into town for some liquid refreshment at my favorite pub.--after all it was Saturday night. Now. being young and in much better physical condition, I could consume as much as four mixed drinks--actually more. On this occasion, I had just finished my second 7 and 7, when I remembered that I had left my watch in the car. So I ventured out of the establishment to my car. Upon exiting the building, my eyes were drawn to a fellow standing in the parking lot about seven (7) feet tall, with dark ill fitting clothes and a distinctly pale to light green face and flat head. If you have not guessed, I was looking at the creature created by Frankenstein . The liquor reduced my restraint and I attempted to strike up a conversation with the creature without success. After about three minutes, I rushed back into the bar and cajoled my fellow bar patrons to go out and have a look. I admit I was seeking assurance that this was not some type of delusion. After three minutes of intense effort, some of my fellows did go out but alas there
was no one there.
Let me close this real life ghost story by saying that this is not a joke and that two drinks were unlikely to have made me delusional. The experience or a like experience has never again occurred. Let me know, if you want to know the rest of the story.

I am surprise that two people read this. No it was not Halloween and no my drink was not spiked. You who posted are entitle to the rest of the story, which I will probably pm you with--the heck with everyone else.
