Fosaken-Aftermath

By Fbi3255 on 24/05/2010
I want everyone to make non-personal comments on how we went and what we did well and should improve on. After that i will Write a formalised post for every1 to read and understand. As ay people doing so would be great.

This was my reply to Rob's post in Suggestions:

I think that considering I haven't led in a war situation like this for.... like 6-8 months, I did pretty well.

QUOTE
First off when a fall in leader gets piled they should just call out another fall in leaders name for them to take over.

That way we can keep the piles going.

When a fall in leader calls to fall in on audio, they should say the direction they are from wherever they are.

I think I did all of the above very well.

I think what did let us down was the falling in. It just WAS NOT quick enough.

Chasing after piles when the pile had been called off them was also frequent. THIS MUST STOP.

Binding did slowly, but surely, improve over the cause of the PKRI, so good work on that guys... but it was far too slow at some points.
Unless you are being sniped, you should have your robes out and on. You can put them on when a pile is coming in, but PUT THEM BACK ON IMMEDIATELY!!

We did manage to narrow the gap at the end, so well done for that guys, but we could have done far better.

It is regrettable that we currently have so few raid leaders.
(As many of you know, elections for this are happening as soon as the next council member is brought in).

The main issue really is obedience and that is what WG needs to work on.
People just weren't falling in and continued to chase piles after we told them not to... it's not good enough.

1) leadership was like a headless chicken
2) Leaders were like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT, Oh I'm supposed to lead now umm I choose this guy
3) Half the people have no idea what to wear, oh wait there's a guide on that also /facepalm
4) Tanking, is that what you do at bandos?
5) Binding, what I use rope on em or wat
6) lol @ our pull

Leadership needs improvement.

*cough* you could have stepped up Joe and it is likely that you would have done a far better job than me... but you didn't.... *cough*

From what I have heard, we need more practice. We also need dedicated and determined fall in leaders.

A war every month or two just doesn't cut it.

By Garrett on 24/05/2010
practice would definately help, i think if we made sure everyone had a click on someone in robes we could kill them befor them noticing, so if we call a pile and give time we can take them down faster than if 5people pile and they get time to put armor on and begin tanking, theyre average being lvl like 123 didnt help us when it came to them being able to tank.

By WG_Keanu on 24/05/2010
We were demotivated. With that said, everything else that I can say to follow that up with will be biased.

By Dorcha3377 on 24/05/2010
I was thrilled to be in a warring situation after a while. I thought we were totally outleveled. The level difference was huge.

By Mmangler on 24/05/2010
It is obvious that we need practice. For those who can war, it probably is boring but reading about waring and actual practice are entirely two different things. Telling people to bind is not a substitute for practice. Without binds, there are not piles so practice is the key.

joe shouldnt have to. there should be more than one raid leader to lead piles. majiec left, no one was promoted. fred left, no one was promoted. you havnt even left yet and someone is already close to promoted to council.

To be fair, the same could be said about Kyle and Steve. But RL promotions are going to be hosted as soon as the Council elections are over, so it'll all get sorted.

By Quikdrawjoe on 25/05/2010
Obviously it was because Gene was not leading us, without him telling us to bring lobs we can't go on.

By Planolocal on 25/05/2010
Damn, another loss ya? I think we need practice but no one likes the idea of practice. Is it possible we could have like leadership practice? A scenario where the fall-in leaders can get some experience? If we could pull that off then thats just as good as clan practice.

it should have been sorted way before council elections. considering we are trying to rebuild, we need raid leaders or we are going to just keep losing wars and then members

Someone was chilling in a rune square.
We piled the best tanks, again and again and again. (This seems to be reccuring, we apparently have a thing against going for greens with level 70 defence)
Restocking was slow.

I have to agree with Jenny on all that she says here. Everyone knows I mostly don't like the pvp stuff but it has been a long time. Sorta brings back some nice times.

I can leave this behind me and look to future wars. Getting KO is not anyone's favorite thing so we just need to get some wars for practice with clans we are more even on the playing field with.

We need to get away from some of our past leaders tendencies to match us up with overpower clans that we get smashed while we are fighting them. Take more of DZ and BTO approach. Those seemed to work better.
