Decent turnout for this fight, considering it wasn't an actual war. We pulled nine, TDM pulled seven. Not only were the numbers lopsided, the levels were as well. Two thirds of our members were 120+, while TDM had 4 people 100 combat or lower.

The first out of two fights we had with them was a matched opts, melee/binds only fight. Under the great leadership of Darf, we won easily, and lost nobody. It's also worth noting that our binds were very good.

The second fight was an non-matched opts, with all styles allowed. Again, we won easily and lost nobody. Nearly all of us were ranging, while TDM was mostly praying melee.

Just want to say that we probably shouldn't judge our warring capabilities based on the outcome of this event...

Having good binds when you're against 7 people is completely different from having good binds when you're up against 30 or 40 people.

Considering with only 7 people they can't possibly have any decent sniper unit, and with us outpulling and outlevelling them we should have been binding.

This happens all the time. We do these practices, but it's on such a small scale nothing can really be learned from them. Nobody is afraid to put on robes when it's a practice and when they really only have to tank 6 people. People are afraid of putting their robes on when the fight matters and when 3-4 snipers will be on them the second they're spotted, and that the lag between binding and running to catch up means their pile can do a quick switch on you, or easily bind you and get a KO.

Not to say these events are pointless, but we at least need to simulate something realistic. The day we start having legitimate wars where we're pulling 9 and our opponents are pulling 7, war practices will be the least of our worries...

This wasn't as much of a practice as it was a fun event with our allies, anyway.

Good job guys for not dying, impressive, although yeah their levels were a bit... shambolic biggrin.gif
Meh, what can you expect, they don't do pk/war stuffs anymore neko2.gif
