Well shit, This is rediculous.

By Kung Man149 on 19/06/2010
Ok, This is rediculous Most of the raid's are p2p and there are some F2P member's in WG and in all honesty I'm getting fed up I have NOT been out on a raid in over 2 - 3 months and my rune set's are just sitting in the bank collecting dust.
I'm thinking of selling all the set's and just keeping one so i can get 2 -3 mill back.

Soon. We have our raid leaders now so we should only be moving forward.

Watch a majority of the following raid's are going to be P2P.

Raiding in f2p with 5 people, might as well just make it an EP trip.

Either way raiding should be balanced between F2P and P2P.
That way it's fair to those who don't have P2P or don't want to pay for RS.

I agree. And if numbers are a problem, give F2P raids mandatory sign ups + invite allies.

By markenzie1 on 19/06/2010
tbh i dislike f2p=/
low l00ts/low loss/low tension.
just doesnt give me te wow feeling=/

By Pyroclastic0 on 19/06/2010
The problem being our members list not being a good representation of how many people will turn up and so fighting anyone with a similar sized members list generally get more members turn up and we lose moral.

By Nick on 19/06/2010
Numbers seem to always be the problem. I see Rob making an effort to recruit. We always resort to P2P when we don't pull 20, or however many we usually pull. Who cares if you get dominated in F2P PvP? It is only 200k.

By George on 19/06/2010
Yeah I agree with you Nick, however after about 10 mins of being dominated by a massive F2P clan, you get bored.

You don't just end the raid.

You hop worlds and try again.

No I mean it's not like in P2P where we stand a chance.
In general we don't stand a chance against any F2P teams, purely on account of their size.
I don't mind losing a few rune sets, as you say, theyre like 200k lolz, but why force newer members, in particular, to come to a raid that they may not enjoy as much as a p2p raid, where they WILL get dropped and lose all their money.

It is easier to get dropped in P2P, in general, sets and gear are more expensive for P2P, and we don't stand a chance in P2P either. All we have done on raids that I have been to lately is sit around BH and CWA and drop low numbers and when higher numbers come, we hide and sit in a safe spot. No fun at all doing that.

As you can see from this thread and others that have posted before, newer members want F2P. They apparently know the risks of F2P yet they still want it.

Throw them a bone and give them F2P raids. Hell I want a F2P PKRI so I can lose some sets, but no one will give me one of those.

If you don't give them what they want, then they will just leave to go to what they want. Others have done it, so what stops them? Trust me... that thought has crossed my mind many of times.

Were you just on the raid with Sabres? We just dominated dude, completely dominated for 2 hours.

Um ok i'll make you a deal. If you can GUARANTEE that we will get good attendance from F2P raids then I will push for more to be hosted.
*pokes Luke and Jordan and Dieyou2000 and DZ and Justin*

But the same thing always happens - the same f2p members ask for an f2p raid and then either don't come or skip (even when they say on sign ups that they are coming). It's always happened, because people realise how boring it will be and therefore donm't have the motivation to attend.

I personally prefer f2p raiding over P2p, but thats just me.

By Kung Man149 on 19/06/2010
I honestly don't care if we pull low, I just find the lack of F2P raid's fuckin' stupid I mean how often can anyone say they saw ME at a raid? Not many that's for sure.
Wanna know why?
Severe lack of F2P raid's and seeing as i refuse to pay for RuneScape membership that's all i have left.

By Dallar on 20/06/2010
Just let the rune sets sit there... Smoke some weed and watch pineapple express!!!

By sgtswordfish on 20/06/2010
i have to admit i'm going for f2p

that way i can invest max gp in ge =P

By kajju on 20/06/2010

By His_Lordship on 20/06/2010
I've put this up for discussion in Lvl 3
I'm asking that raids alternate weekly between f2p and p2p.

By Jayson on 20/06/2010
i hate p2p with a passion, so yea, i miss f2p raids as much as you.

we had about ~20 to the aussie raid last week, so we could of gone f2p.

honestly, in p2p all we do is walk around and then run when we get near a fight, so why not go on f2p, try to get a fight.

even if we lose pkri's, we are getting our name out there

By David on 20/06/2010
I enjoy P2P far more than F2P. When there is action, it's fun. I find F2P incredibly boring, and even when we do run into someone/a team it's significantly harder to get kills, whereas in P2P, freezes last for 15-20 seconds so meleers can get more than one hit in before binds have to be thrown again.

I personally don't really care about dying or losing sets...I have them so I might as well use them up.

By Ubg-Fcbruges on 20/06/2010
I like F2P over P2P. It's oldskool which is cool
