Staff meeting
By Kevin on 12/07/2010
I think we should have a staff meeting sometime this week, perhaps Sunday? We haven't had one for a while. There's some things I want to bring up, and I'm sure other people have things they would like to bring up as well.
What would be a good time for a meeting for you all?
List of things I want to bring up:
-Needing more wars
-Adding a third weekly raid
-Getting more involved with ZT
-More events from all staff
-General staff inactivity
-Elite guardian discussion
-remove ally links at bottom of page (small issue, annoying though >.<)

Not sure if I'll be back from vacation by then.

Feel free to suggest other dates and times, Sunday was just a suggestion, as we usually seem to have meeting on that day.

I'll try to make Sunday work. I think before then I'll try to have some ideas on promotions to discuss too.
George did not like Rob being promoted to Elite over some other people, but it was a mentor promotion that also gave him Elite. I think we can discuss this further if anyone has any questions too.

Sundays are never great for Aussies but maybe.
By DZ on 13/07/2010
I'll make anything work.

I will also do my best to accommodate most times.

Alright, so I'm thinking 7PM EST (midnight BST, 9AM AEST) on Sunday, a bit late for George but he said that's ok

.
Any objections to this?
By George on 13/07/2010
Ok, but i will only be able to stay to like... half midnight (7.30 pm EST) as I have to be up early the next morning.
Sooo like make a mini-agenda, placing things of the utmost importance at the beginning so that I can take part in those and i'll catch up on the other stuff afterwards.

Added things I want to discuss to my first post ... feel free to edit things in at your discretion.

Can't make it I have to work. Please leave notes.

7am... shit. I'd better go to sleep now.
I will wake up EXACTLY at the time of the meeting. If I'm a few minutes late don't worry.

2 hours later, and I'm posting to say that I am suffering from insomnia.
I took heavy mediecation and will be out in a few minutes.
This medication means I will not be able to wake up for at least six hours.
I truly apologise for this, and look forward to reading the minutes of the meeting.

aww shame.... we'll make sure we get good minutes..

Someone got hurt at my church so I have to teach tonight from 6 to 8:30. I won't be able to make it now. I might have to do some of their other classes this week too.
By Kevin on 18/07/2010
Well with Rach, Gene, Sean and Zach being unable to attend, Jordan's uncertainty, George's sleep deprivation, and Justin's lack of response, we might as well reschedule this.
I suggest sometime during the week, say Tuesday or Wednesday at around the same time. Thoughts? (I can't do it Friday through Monday because I am going away on a church retreat.)
By DZ on 19/07/2010
I cannot do Wednesday at the same time. Tuesday and Thursday both work with me.

Ugh the problem is... as some of you know:
My time from now on until the end of August will be extremely limited, so limited that I may step down, at least for a bit (as planned when I took Event Leader).
I'm working backstage in a theatre for the Edinburgh Theatre Fringe Festival for 3 weeks in August. I've been designing and building the set for the last 2 weeks (hence my inactivitiyishness... and on Thursday we have to dismantle and transport the set to our rehearsal venue in London.
Following that is 10 days of rehearsals, then up to August on 2nd August for me. Back on 22nd.
Soooooooooooooo as a result, I am working from 8am ---> 9pm every day at the moment in order to get the set ready for Thursday and rehearsals are likely to run late due to limited time, so i really don't think I can afford to stay up to Midnight when I have to be up at 6 every day... i need to preserve my sleep as I won't get much in Edinburgh at all...
I'll catch up on any notes though.
~George
