Important!

These next few days are huge. Wilderness Guardians have a lot of things going on especially in the war department. It is imperative that we have as many people attend these wars as possible. We need to make the best showing that we can. Yes we have taken a few steps back with these last couple losses but every clan goes through that. Right now is our chance to change all that and pull off some good wins. Remember everyone that every fight now matter how big or how little is key. Every win we get makes the clan as a whole look better. BUT don't forget that how you act when you lose shows what kind of clan you truly are.

So lets go into these next few days on the upside. Lets go out and have fun. Play the game as it should be played and do what is needed/asked of you. If your asked to snipe well then go out and snipe the bloody hell out of them. If your not a sniper you should do your best to have binds out and ready. Now the toughest and biggest factor. This isn't our decision but when the other clan calls you out, well your tank like mad and give it your best!

Things to have so you are ready for these fights.
1. Food - Have at least swordfish at the minimum. These are so easy to fish and getting a load of them takes so little out of your day. It is wise to have anchovie pizzas as well. But if you cant get the pizzas do your best to have swordfish.

2. Strength potion - Once again this takes so little time to make. You could even buy this on ge. A strength potion makes a huge difference. You can go from hitting 17's to hitting 20's with it.

3. Binders - Have your robes and natures/earth/water ready before the war.

4. Armour - Of course you should have this!

5. Gloves/boots - If it is a f2p war I expect to see every single person in dragon vambs or leather gloves if your binding and to be in leather boots. The worst is to see people come in dragon boots or climbing boots or some retarded colored boots. That is the worst you can do for yourself. You get no added defence by using p2p boots or gloves. So get correct f2p gear.

6. If being sniped. For instance you have on your bind robes and you end up getting sniped by an opponent. Don't be afraid to throw on rune and hit the sniper a few times. Typically this will get him to flee. Also people that are not hybrid and are straight melee need to help with this. If you see we are getting sniped the people who are straight melee need to turn around and hit the snipers. This will discourage them from coming back typically. Not to mention it will lower their food count!

7. Everyone should do their best to make their way to FOG. Even if you play a couple games each day your tokens will add up. It is super easy to do FOG on f2p and you can easily obtain tokens. We need everyone to end up getting the Rune Berzerker shield and the Rune gloves. These 2 alone will help tremendously. Also the full druidic as you know is unbelievable! Most of the TDM hybrids had the druidic set and were hardly splashing binds. SO get to FOG and do your best to get robes.

Good post, just another thing i would like to add:
During not only these upcomming wars but for all wars, at all times, WATCH YOUR HP Jagex made a handy little icon the the top right hand side of the screen so USE IT!!
You must also have your personal sound effects ON, (the middle one, speaker icon)
If you have any suspicion AT ALL of getting piled, then put rune on, turn protect from melee on, AND THEN click on the minimap to run behind a wall
During wars, its BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY. It is better to have off the pile than to have them koed.

Lastly, i would like to re-emphasize the importance of HYBRIDS
IF THEY CANNOT MOVE THEN THEY CANNOT TANK SO HYBRID

Good post Gen. And yes, the last couple of wars, we lacked hybrids. Most of us had their hybrid gears, yes. But most of us were scared to put it on, in danger of getting sniped. Think of it this way, if all of us were in hybrid gear, there would be less chance of you getting sniped, and more of a chance to bind the one sniping you because of the decent amount of hybrids we have.

And Also there is honestly no reason for anyone not having the Fist Of Guthix Gear anymore.

I fully agree. WG has just grown a lot. We just need to tone ourselves a bit and we can fight the big boys. We can do this guys. Our clan is active and strong. Lets go out and have a good game of scape.

Good post. EVeryone should try and get those FoG items i reconmend u do the event instead of buying from GE then doing the event for the tokens to repair

Yes FOG is very boring. I am just doing it in spurts until I reach enough tokens for the druid robes and what not.
