So, reading through RSOF, I've found a list of all the monsters that drop them.

Poppy was only relaying information from Emilee, so theoretically TDs could still be on the list.
There was a post by MMH where he gave his thoughts on why they might not drop the new elite scrolls. He said that they're already profitable (claws, plate pieces) and all that would happen is people would continue to go there for money, while a big aim of this was to make unpopular monsters more popular (bronze dragons, KQ, KBD).
But that begs the question...why GWD monsters?
My thinking is that most of these monsters on the list are soloable, but usually AREN'T soloed because there are more profitable monsters that can be soloed (TDs).
GWD, Corp, DKs are generally LS/CS and because you cannot get clues that way, it's irrelevant if people continue to go there, unless people start doing a lot more FFA.
So, as much as I'd love for TDs to drop the new clues, I'm sure they won't because enough people solo TDs that it would make the new rewards very common.

Unless we want to have a mass WG FFA event, it wouldn't really do us any good to have a mass (in terms of trying to get the new clues) because we wouldn't be able to LS/CS them.

Yes. BUT. They're only killable on slayer tasks.
